We only stayed one night, and found it good. Our room had a balcony (and a bidet - what more could one ask?). As we're not golfers, there wouldn't have been much for us to do, and we didn't go looking for alternative restaurants. We had fun finding the hotel one, which is right in the middle with not much signing; but when we got there the food and service were good, tables were clean. There was a slight difficulty as the staff didn't speak much English, but my basic Spanish saw us through. Breakfast was good and varied. The manager, whose English was good, was most helpful.
Overall good but main bathroom in accommodation a little tired and in need of some attention.
If hiring a car it is a long walk from where you have to park to then get to your accommodation (across a road at another location).
Staff were very helpful.
"Very well maintained apartments close to the sea"
The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with a fridge freezer, microwave and a small hob. Everything was kept very clean and toiletries were provided in the bathroom. The apartments are conveniently located, close to the sea and also in close proximity to restaurants and a small supermarket. There was a really good variety of food available for breakfast and it was good value for money.

OK the positives. 13 mins by taxi to the airport.
Central position near tourist office. Bar next door and across the road.
Own restaurant which was rather good.
Staff friendly and helpful, owner even more so-set chairs for us outside whilst waiting for taxi
Now the Marmite: We were shown the room which allegedly wasn't ours- the guy in ours hadn't checked out.
Little window with hessian roller blind softened by lavender bags. Bed comfortable enough, we had a good sleep.
Kettle, electric plug in radiator, towel rack, hanging rail, desk and chair.
Run of cupboards painted blue, topped by a worktop, complete with stainless steel sink which doubled as a washbasin.
Excellent shower with multi heads.

BUT... and I think this is the artist in me. there were these little nuances. It was almost as if you were in someones house, the shelves had little nick nacks, out in the corridor of this enclave with marble floors- there were straw hats arranged artistically on bits of furniture, magazine racks, flowers. To the left of our room was a little patio sitting area with chairs and table for sun relaxing. Down a few steps to a little grotto with a pond and koi carp. Then steps to the al fresco area of the restaurant.
We had a really nice meal, appetiser starter main course, and the most gorgeous puddings (selected by our excellent waitress), lager for him, nice wine for me (x2) 53euros. Value!

Golf Delsur is windier then the rest of tenerife so prepare for that.
Quiet resort but only a taxi away from the action.
Pool area good and quiet
Pools very cold. My daughter hated going in them
Vista Bonita is in the village of San Miguel in the foothills of the volcano, Mount Teide. It is definitely a place to use a hire car for visits and shopping and has good access to the beautiful interior of the island. The accommodation is traditional and comfortable and we stayed in a one-bedroom apartment which had it's own entrance onto the road and plentiful parking space outside. There was a large bedroom, a well laid out bathroom and a large lounge, off which was a small but adequate kitchen. Sliding doors led onto a large patio with a table and chairs, drying facilities and a gate leading down into the garden. The view from the patios is extensive and the coast can be seen easily a few miles to the south. A heated swimming pool is located just off the garden and the area near it and the reception areas of the complex have free wi-fi. The manager, Beatriz, was very helpful and the cleaning, 'wellness' and maintenance staff were charming and helpful. If you don't want to be near a beach on Tenerife but want a quiet holiday, then this is a good place to try. Across the road is an excellent restaurant and the village, which is a short drive down the hill has a full range of small shops spread along some 400 metres.
