Booked this property based on the reviews of the great views, so was surprised then I walked into my room and there wasn’t even a window, just a door that opened straight into a dark stone wall. I paid to upgrade to a suite instead and the views and two balconies are definitely fantastic, but I would not book this hotel if the room doesn’t have a proper window. The location is fantastic, right near the entrance of the main castle. It’s hard to walk up the hill with luggage though so book a transport through the hotel if arriving by bus. Breakfast was pretty good.

I absolutely loved this hotel and the family that manages it. The hotel was spotless, quiet, comfortable and the view was stunning. It's located within easy walking distance to the castles. I highly recommend it and San Marino.

A wonderful experience. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating and helpful and the beds were comfy. The location is super convenient to the towers and the view was magnificent! Get a cappuccino or Spritz from the lobby bar and walk across the way to their overlook - the view is stunning!

A beautiful hotel close to the highest point of San Marino old town. Very near the first of the three famous towers on Mount Titano. Comfortable and clean. Quiet at night for sleeping. Good breakfast selection for this standard of hotel. Bathroom was 'cosy' but clean and everything you need. Great water pressure for an enjoyable shower after hill climbing. Great communication from hosts before arriving with instructions for parking etc.

Magnificent Views!
We were actually contacted prior to our arrival to check to make sure if we needed to park in the hotel and how to give us directions. When we got to the hotel, we weren’t sure where to park but as soon as we pulled up somebody came out to park our car for us. This was an additional fee but we’ll worth parking at the hotel. Let me preface this by saying that as we were driving there, I was hoping that the cliff that I saw in the distance was where we were going, and it absolutely was. The pictures of the hotel don’t do the hotel justice. I didn’t see any other hotels on the inside but by far this was one of the best hotels due to the fact that it’s directly under one of the towers and I believe you can’t drive any higher than the hotel. The views are magnificent! ! I highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely place to stay
A lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good and the location is excellent - just 3 minutes from the first tower. Parking right at the hotel requires getting a paper permission to drive in the old town, but the P6 parking lot is only 50m away outside the walls and the hotel can provide a discount card. Particularly recommend if you’re getting up early for a stunning dawn over the castles and walkway.

Great hotel at the top of San Marino. Outstanding views of the city and surrounding countryside from our balcony. Nice onsite parking can be arranged through the hotel. Close to many good restaurants and all major sights of the city.

Hotel Rosa just a staircase away from the castle grounds.The view from our bedroom window was breathtaking. The included full breakfast was scrumptious. Definitely have them pick you up at the bus stop if coming in by train then bus. The staff was very responsive and helpful. We loved staying here and in San Marino. We would love to come back soon. Perfect position
Sitting almost at the top of Mount Titan, the hotel is a perfect position to explore San Marino. We sat outside on both days for breakfast ...stunning and then in the evening with a night cap. The staff were lovely and very helpful, we chose to pay for on site parking and were pleased we did as it was very hot. All in all a very special 2 days.

We stayed one night in a family room while in transit to southern Italy. The hotel was very communicative prior to arrival with directions and parking instruction. Check in was great and staff throughout our stay were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good; having all the standard fare and coffee made to order. The only modest disappointment may have been the room. It was tight for 4 and there was not much space to sit; we sat at the outside tables over the view, which was nice in good weather. Location is excellent and very central to all the walking areas of the town.

This property is the highest hotel in San Marino, family run, beautiful postcard view, right under castle and close to all shopping muses and sights the staff were all wonderful, we travel a lot and this was as good as it gets, nice breakfast

Excellent place to stay - great service - parking is a little issue but not enough to cause a problem. Parking at the property is tight and you need to drive through a busy ZTL. Parking just outside the city gate was easy - not a long walk to the hotel. Get a Junior Suite - great view over the countryside.

We were so impressed with San Marino, and this unpretentious hotel was the perfect base to see it from. My wife and I stayed in a family room (with a jacuzzi bath!) with our two daughters aged 10 and 12. The hotel is right at the top of San Marino, near the first tower. Spectacular views. The hotel breakfast (included in the price) was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose to park our hire car at the public car park a short walk away (4 euros per day), but there was an option to park directly next to the hotel for 16 euros per day.

Really great location at the top of the city. So close to the top you can easily pop back up for sunset and night photos. Staff were lovely, breakfast was good, lots of options. Our room was in need of some updating and repair as the bathroom shower leaked onto the floor; but the location and staff makes it worthwhile.

This hotel was a lovely stay. Even though driving in San Marino can be a bit tricky, the paid lot nearby could not be any more convenient, to include the option to pay half the price by paying the hotel directly. The staff was welcoming and helpful. My room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The included breakfast was much appreciated, and it was so nice to simply step out the door the next morning and have time to walk and explore for several hours before check out.

A perfect location with beautiful view.
We had a delightful stay in a room with a balcony and view of San Marino. We had drinks from the bar in our room. The service was very friendly. The room was spacious. We walked to a restaurant recommended by the hotel which was also great. The location is convenient to sights. The parking is right at the hotel. We can’t wait to return.

This hotel is closest to the tower with it's old town appeal. We had a junior suite and it was awesome. Family owned and it shows with their attention to detail. I would classify this hotel as 5 star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
