“Stay in heart of San Marino”
When we checked in at the hotel we were told that there was a surcharge for parking which seemed a little steep. When we were shown our room in was on the back side with a view of the side of the road continuing up to the top. It was also a small dark room. We upgraded for an additional 33% to a room on the view side of the hotel. The room was larger, had a balcony and had a million dollar view. The hotel is right in the middle of all the action. Once you are there you are in the heart of San Marino. The staff was very accommodating. The wait staff at dinner was aloof. They doted on there regular customers and and seemed to ignore giving us the same service. The hotel is quiet, clean, first class. The staff was very helpful. Beware, the morning we were there we woke up in the clouds with rain. The million dollar view was gone. We were told that it clears up late morning to beautiful sunny days.
“Really exceptional service”
Grand Hotal San marino is a modern hotel located directly outside the wall of the old city in San Marino. We had an emergency upon arrival (lost pusre) and I have never seen staff at a hotal jump into action as quickly or effectively as they did. This was charactersitic of the service throughout our two day visit. Excelelnt food and service in restaurant. Lovely view form our room, and help in getting to know the charming town.
“L'apparenza a volte inganna...”
Cattivo odore in camera, non è possibile regolare ventilazione/condizionamento/temperatura, formiche che passeggiano sul pavimento... Il ristorante invece è di buona qualità.. e non caro.. Il parcheggio è a pagamento (bisogna lasciare le chiavi perchè è minuscolo e con difficoltà di manovra) e costa 16€
“no wifi in the bedroom and breakfast not very good”
ambiance décoration moquette neuve mais un peu has been, livrées du personnel blanches mais pas toujours nickel, les gros problèmes : 1/le petit déjeuner : dans un pays où la nourriture et les produits sont partout excellents, comment peut on proposer un petit déjeuner soi disant continental avec un café vraiment quelconque, des jus de fruits de provenance inconnue et désagréable et un buffet dans l'ensemble médiocre, sans beaucoup de choix, voir pas très bon... 2/ connexion internet : pas de wifi dans les chambres, obligé de descendre à l'accueil pour obtenir un réseau surchargé et poussif.

Hotel a due passi dalla zona pedonale del centro storico in quanto ultimo raggiungibile in auto. Possibilita di sistemazione dell'auto in autorimessa privata che in parcheggio comunale a prezzi convenienti. Accoglienza ottima con personale qualificato per una rapida assegnazione delle camere. Camere comodamente accessibili e pulite. Ottima varietà per la prima colazione. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono.
