“Helpful Stagg”

We checked in late around 8:30pm, got assigned to a room that was non smoking but didn't smell good to us. The front desk immediately moved us to another room. Large rooms and very clean. Close to campus and downtown.

“What a pleasant surprise!!”

First time staying at this Inn....cozy, quaint, rooms remodeled, bed very comfy and clean, great service with a smile from the desk attendants. I would definitely stay here again.

“nice, comfortable stay”

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were very pleased with the hotel however the location was right up against the freeway.

“Will use again”

Stayed here with my son while looking at colleges. This hotel was clean and very, very convienent for what we needed. If you want a hotel that is convienent, clean and comfortable I would definately recommend. If you are looking for a hotel that has a resort feel to it, I don't know if you'd get that here. Did'n't really care for the free breakfast.

“Clean and Convenient”

Checking in was very easy. The location is very convenient to US 101 and the downtown business area of San Luis Obispo. Room was clean and comfortable. Will come back!

“Convenient and comfortable for San Luis Obispo stopovers”

This is a conveniently-located motel, with good service. It is a good choice for the price, considering it was extensively renovated about two years ago. The lobby is pleasant, and there are several restaurants nearby.

“Definitely worth going back to.”

It was located right off the freeway. Great location to get to other places. The check in person was also able to give us directions to a couple wineries. Everything was neat and clean. The parking was good too (plenty of it).

Area recommendations
Take the 1 north to San Simeon to visit and tour the Hearst Castle.
