“Good hotel”

Very big room with kitchen, dining area etc. Little expensive but value for money. If you just need to sleep at night probably not the best deal.

“great for the cost”

Pretty much what I expected. Good buy for the price. I had just left a much more exclusive hotel the night before and didn't have the size I had of this one. Beds were comfortable. Staff recommended a wonderful place for dinner. "The Swiss" was really good. The walls are paper thin, and that was a big distraction and cost them a 4 rating from me. They really need to do something about that problem. Would I stay again, yes but never for more than 1 night.

Area recommendations

This is gorgeous central coast area, its all good. Many wine trails, and little unique towns. We go often, just to tour the area.

“The place to stay In Santa Maria”

As soon as we walked in walked in we were greeted by friendly clerk behind the desk.. The lobby was clean and fresh as was our room. This hotel is well maintained and looks new but is at least 10 yrs old. It is the only place I will stay when visting the central coast.

“close to everything!”

We really enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Santa Maria. It was very close to our area of business. However, we did not realize when we booked it how close we were to the Highway 101. This proved to be so useful for several reasons! We went to Solvang one day...easy to get to from our Hotel. The trip back to the Airport was a breeze!!! We didn't realize on arrival that 101 was the way to get from one area of Santa Maria to another. We were also very close to great shopping! Also, on arrival, we decided to have dinner in the Restaurant and were pleasantly surprised! Great breakfasts as well!

Area recommendations

Solvang Wonderful, quaint little town. Darling lace products from Europe! Wonderful little shops and restaurants! Went out of our way to go and visit this town, even though we were on a business trip. Also would highly recommend going for dinner to the Hitching Post in Casmalia. Reservations needed.

“California in 11 Days”

Staff were very accommodating (they gave us a large room to be able to fit in a roll-away bed). The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was nice but the pool walls could have been cleaned and the spa was out of order.
