“This was our fourth stay in this hotel”

The hotel is not a new hotel, and you see it a litle bit if you look closer. They have balcony rooms, but there is not much room to sit on the balcony. We arrived on Saturday and the front desk person was really helpful. Upgraded our room, because we stayed there before. The hotel is not too big, and the rooms have a nice size. Breakfast included, (waffels, Muffin, Toast, Hard boiled eggs, Coffee, juice, oatmeal) afternoon snack (wine and little chesse) included. They have an indoorpool and a workout area, not hugh but ok size. The beds are comfotable, extra pillows and towels, has a hairdryer, small microwave and small refrigerator. We like it there. Walking distance to the habor and the shops in Morro Bay. The only bad part was, The hotel is at a busy street and our room was right on the street. Room 101 and 102 is not the best from the noise. But it was a good value for this time of the year. In the summer we pay three times more. We will stay there again, but we will make sure not to get a room right at the street.

“Beautiful, Romantic and Convenient!”

This hotel is beautiful and the location is great. It is walking distance to the main but still quiet. This is one of the best hotels in Morro Bay.

“Great place to stay.”

We enjoyed our stay at Masterpiece. The room was clean, staff was very friendly and location was great! Will stay again when we are in the area.

“Very nice”

When we got off the freeway it came up very quit. The location was good close to the water and downtown. The hotel you can tell it was old but when you get into the room it was clean.

“Darling Motel!”

My husband and I stayed here for one night and were very happy with our stay. The room was well sized and very clean, the bed comfortable and the WiFi worked fine. We had a room that faced a side-street so it was quiet. We could see Morro Rock from our deck. There was plenty of room at the sink for my make-up and there was a hairdryer on the wall. We will definatly stay here again on our next visit to Morro Bay.

Area recommendations

Visit the area down by the water in the center of town. Fun area to walk around and restaurants with good seafood. We were there in late July and we had to view Morro Rock before the fog rolled in around 4pm. Go early!
