Cons: Bedspread was torn and some place had been mended, but not well. Carpet was stained and molding in bathroom needed painting.
We had a great time but was a bit disappointed in our room. Wasn't up to the same standards we've had in the past.

A little "over the top"

Posted 18-Nov-2014
Wow, they go a wee bit overboard with the Christmas decorations in my opinion. My wife loves Christmas so I picked this hotel based on comments about the Christmas feel of the place but even she thought that they got a bit carried away. Everything else about the hotel was very good however.

Our New Favorite Hotel!

Posted 11-Oct-2014
Pros: There are so many little details that make this hotel really special. From the miniature apple trees all around the property to the sweet staff.
Cons: Room had a slight odor to it when we checked in, but the front desk agent immediately came and sprayed deodorizer.
Location: So many things to do in the area. We were planning on going to a farm close by and picking apples but we spent most of our time at the hotel--so nice!
Best part of our three day birthday celebration road-trip for my 87 year old grandma was by far The Apple Farm. The staff members were all incredible kind and so welcoming! Hitesh greeted us with cookies and a pleasant smile and at almost eleven at night after spending the day driving we really appreciated his kindness. He even found a step stool for my grandma to reach up to her sky high four poster bed! Beds were extremely comfortable by the way. Our room had two four poster beds, a fireplace and a fantastic view of the pool. My six year old daughter said she felt like a real princess! She loved swimming in the pool and exploring the gardens and gift shop. My grandmother especially loved the rocking chairs by the entrance to just take in the ambience. So nice watching the hummingbirds and butterflies everywhere you look in the gorgeous gardens. Really Lovely! Cannot wait to go back!

Good overnight stop on our way up the coast

Posted 14-Sep-2014
Pros: Apple Farm is an experience.
Cons: More information on cashing the numerous vouchers.
Location: The hotel is a 20 minute walk into what is a very nice town
This hotel /B&B was recommended to us. It lived up to the recommendation. The decor was quite over the top. The rooms were all flowers and frills with a four poster bed and even flounces and frills round the bath. The rooms were a generous size and very comfortable. On arrival we were given home made cookies and a complimentary glass of wine . There was also tea and coffee in reception. We were also given discount vouchers for breakfast and a massage. Be warned and read the small print carefully we weren't able to use any of these. The breakfast voucher has to be cashed when ordering breakfast and the massage is only for specific treatments. Slightly frustrating.

Apple Farm was awesome!!!

Posted 12-Sep-2014 on Hotels.com
We went to Apple Farm for our wedding anniversary on the first weekend in September. First, the weather was absolutely perfect. When we pulled into Apple Farm, we knew we were in for something good, the grounds are spectacular, filled with greenery and flowers, little pathways going everywhere! We walked in to a beautifully decorated, cozy lobby and were greeted promptly by the staff. When we were registering, we were give a couple of big homemade chocolatae chip cookies!! We nibbled on them as we went to our room, walkling down the hallway that was so beautifully decorated it was like being in a home. Our room was spectacular!! Beautiful blue and white bedding and d├ęcor. Huge fluffy pillows pilled on the bed leading to a cozy sitting room with windows with plantation shutters ibehind a comphy couch and chair with a fireplace across the room. Goodies were served in the morning and afternoon with wine tasting. The restaurant was fabulous, excellent food with a wonderful bakery. I have already recommened the Apple Farm to my friends!!!

I love this hotel!

This is one of my favorite hotels. It is charming, clean, has good service, an adorable gift shop and an excellent restaurant. The chilled Chardonnay or mulled apple cider on arrival is fantastic. The rooms are large and I love the decor. Gorgeous!!
