Great stay as always

Great room with a quiet stay. Never a disappointment! From the glass of wine and cookie at checkin, to the free apple juice in the room, we always feel welcome!

Warm, friendly staff, good restaurant, beautiful rooms and hallways in the main building, cookies, wine, a pool, and a jacuzzi! What more could one ask for?

blast from the past

This hotel thrilled our parents who are in their 70(s) and the facility is such that it would appeal to that generation. It's very dated and frilly with flower wallpaper and doilies... Everything was reasonably comfortable just very old school. Some might say quaint, but outdated may be a better word. The rooms were expensive for the amenities and the food was basic at the restaurant on site and also pricey. Was impressed by the chocolate chip cookies out for guests which really did taste like homemade. Nice thought put into having cider and scones and the cookies at check-in and throughout the day. We accomplished our goal by pleasing the family traveling with us to see a Cal Poly student in town, but certainly wouldn't go back under other circumstances.

Perfect Accomodation

Pros: Comfy beds, staff very hospitable, airport shuttle, free parking, lovely gardens, restaurant on site, easy access to downtown & freeway,
Location: 10 minutes to downtown, great restaurants, drove to Morrow Bay, 20 minutes away. Loved Big Sky for Organic Food & Novo for their patio creekside.
Stayed in April & May, great boutique hotel, staff courteous, Jeff, lent a hand in picking me up @ the airport, also overheard a convo with another staff member saying how great the owners are to work for - hands down - that's important to me too to know management treats their staff well, it shows, keep up the good work! Good food in the restaurant - they offered $ 5.00 off coupons which was gracious.

Love this hotel!

The Apple Farm feels like a resort within a hotel. They offer massage and facials, a pool, hot tub, evening wine tasting, and complimentary hot chocolate and cookies, and even Martinelli's! The rooms are so comfortable and large and feel like home. I will definitely go back.

Still a beautiful place to stay. Only two items needing improving are bedding coverlets getting aged, yellowed over time. Waitress was not personal in her service. We ate a late breakfast so not too busy however waitress seemed to be there just for the job, not at all to strike up personal service. The grounds r still kept lovely. Gift shop must have an impressive buyer because they still display unique items in a very attractive manner

The perfect place to relax in comfort. All hotel personnel were extremely friendly and helpful, from the maintenance people to the front desk people and the restaurant servers and hosts. Little touches of hospitality abounded. Artistic expressions everywhere. Some one thought this hotel all the way through.

We had pickles the Apple Farm for its great location and lovely look from the web pictures. However, it was éven prettier when we got there! Absolutely unique and charming. Very welcoming. Thé room was beautiful, large and comfortable. Great beds! Restaurant was charming too and has great breakfasts. All together, a great place to stay, only regrettes we could not stay longer.

Apple Farm Inn needs Polishing

Posted 19-Apr-2014 on Hotels.com
My wife and her women friends all rave over the Apple Farm Inn...I thought the "prime rib was exceptional at dinner"...but the dungeon like room on the first floor with it's broken deadbolt lock (oh we can fix that in the morning attitude) keeps me from rating this higher than a 3.4......My wife would rate it a 9 on a five point scale.....overall, the whole place made me feel claustrophobic...I believe the "Apple Farm Inn" is in need of polishing.....
