Our New Favorite Hotel!

Posted 11-Oct-2014
Pros: There are so many little details that make this hotel really special. From the miniature apple trees all around the property to the sweet staff.
Cons: Room had a slight odor to it when we checked in, but the front desk agent immediately came and sprayed deodorizer.
Location: So many things to do in the area. We were planning on going to a farm close by and picking apples but we spent most of our time at the hotel--so nice!
Best part of our three day birthday celebration road-trip for my 87 year old grandma was by far The Apple Farm. The staff members were all incredible kind and so welcoming! Hitesh greeted us with cookies and a pleasant smile and at almost eleven at night after spending the day driving we really appreciated his kindness. He even found a step stool for my grandma to reach up to her sky high four poster bed! Beds were extremely comfortable by the way. Our room had two four poster beds, a fireplace and a fantastic view of the pool. My six year old daughter said she felt like a real princess! She loved swimming in the pool and exploring the gardens and gift shop. My grandmother especially loved the rocking chairs by the entrance to just take in the ambience. So nice watching the hummingbirds and butterflies everywhere you look in the gorgeous gardens. Really Lovely! Cannot wait to go back!

Nice, comfy rooms. Good staff. Apple Farm restaurant just ok. Pricey at $250 but maybe it was a busy weekend

Good overnight stop on our way up the coast

Pros: Apple Farm is an experience.
Cons: More information on cashing the numerous vouchers.
Location: The hotel is a 20 minute walk into what is a very nice town
This hotel /B&B was recommended to us. It lived up to the recommendation. The decor was quite over the top. The rooms were all flowers and frills with a four poster bed and even flounces and frills round the bath. The rooms were a generous size and very comfortable. On arrival we were given home made cookies and a complimentary glass of wine . There was also tea and coffee in reception. We were also given discount vouchers for breakfast and a massage. Be warned and read the small print carefully we weren't able to use any of these. The breakfast voucher has to be cashed when ordering breakfast and the massage is only for specific treatments. Slightly frustrating.

Lovely, welcoming hotel & staff

We were here for a holiday weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with our selection of the Apple Farm Inn. Front desk staff generously accommodated my medical needs throughout our stay with smiles. The complimentary beverages (and cookies and scones) in the lobby was a pleasant surprise.

Love Apple Farm environment

We stay at Apple Farm whenever we're in SLO. The service is wonderful: there is a reception for new arrivals along with delicious cookies and charming decor. The pool was clean, warm, and inviting; but the hot tub had unsightly broken tile. The food and service at the Apple Farm Restaurant was very good. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were both harder than we remembered and we didn't sleep as well as we expected.
