Not the best but not the worst by far.

The hotel and staff were great but the ac in our room was not working and it was very hot. The night manager found us a box fan and that was good enough. Other than the air conditioner everything was great.

Broken down

Over priced. Toilet broken. Table broken. Shower curtain rod broken so flooded bathroom when showering. Broken shower head. Loud people all night long. Looks like people living there. Don't be fooled by "free breakfast".

Hotel Employee stole a friends wallet

Checked out of the hotel around 4 am to go on a fishing trip out of morro bay. My friend accidentally left his wallet on the night stand. When he realized he left his wallet in the room I called the clerk and he told me he would go check the room. The wallet was most definitely in the room, but he said there was nothing found. He must have taken the cash and dumped the wallet.

Close to freeway and eating establishments

Pros: The staff and being close to the freeway.
Cons: Update the bedspreads, draperies and prints on the walls.
Location: The convience of eating establishments, market and drug store in walking distance.
The motel is not the ritz it is old but it was clean. Plumbing in other rooms were heard especially in the mornings. Because the motel is right off the entrance to the freeway you could hear the traffice especially the big rigs, but this was mostly in the early mornings. Having patience is a plus.The staff were plesant. I had a personal problem and the two female staff was extremely patient and helpful. The continental breakfast area is located in the motel lobby no special room to eat you have to take the food to the room or eat there standing. Menu is limited. Overall I would stay there again.

Pros: My room was clean & room service did what I requested, (minor). The hotel was dated but I respect the effort made to be clean.
Cons: Replace the screen in 212 & the bath fan, I forgot to mention it to Dina. The hotel is old but owner tries hard to maintain.
Location: Central, close to fwy, awesome; we went to Morro Bay & Pismo beach & Thursday nite street faire, really great!
I began the on-line reservation and miss-spelled my wife's first name by omitting the"M" in Martha. I corrected her name then made sure I had three nites on the reservation at about $72.00 per nite. When I arrived at the hotel Thursday afternoon (5/8/14) I was told the reservation for "artha"(?) only had 2 nites & I would have to add a 3rd nite for another $100+ per nite for Sat nite which I had to do or I'd have lost at least the 1st nite if I went elsewhere. Dina the receptionist was polite so I chanced the stay. I didn't encounter hardly any negatives mentioned in all the on-line comments which was honestly quite scary. I fixed one disassembled towel rack & worked the sink plumbing 'til the water went down but hey, I'm a homeowner & didn't mind, Dina was polite & said "don't believe all those negative reviews". I should have paid what I was quoted. I know I was overcharged by the error in the name in the reservation that wasn't corrected & the 2 instead of 3 days. I've used on-line air reservations before but may not repeat this system after this.

Overpriced and misleading about free breakfast (only dry cereal, bread, and a broken waffle maker). Bed was uncomfortable.

room had mold in bathroom check in problimatic reservation not what ask for the clerk ask for more money or room canceled late at night so payed money felt violated
