My husband and I visited from southern California. We both thought the resort offered warm and genuine service and great room/hotel amenities. The hotel was right on the beach offering guests both the choice of resort pools or prime beach access, additionally providing great ocean views. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to do nearby. Great dining was difficult to find and PR points of interest were certainly not walking distance. If you're looking to spend most of your time in a resort, La Concha is definitely worth visiting, though finding good food might pose a challenge (both in and outside of the resort).
First day we were there we arrived early, check in was at 3pm and we had to kill 3 hours. Manny kept us well cocktailed hahaha. 1 hour later Gladys got us in the room. Mateo was a superb bartender, very accommodating. The place is not a big resort is a very cozy place small place. Not a place for kids, but more for couples that will be coming out of the room only for air wink wink. The beach is great at only a few steps. No taxi needed, we walked everywhere! Sure you get sweaty in the heat but that's part of the fun. Best 7 days spent, I can't wait to return.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night on our way to a Cruise vacation. The hotel is older but very clean and well maintained. The proximity to the Cruise Terminal was a bonus. The Chicago Burgers were awesome.
Great experience stayed at The Doubletree it's convenient to the Beach, walking distance and Old San Juan is not far away. You can ride the bus 21 or 5 for $.75 or fare a taxi. There's a store right across the street in case you want to grab any snacks. Cafe Pierre on site restaurant was nice, excellent service, good food & drinks. Daily happy hour specials. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful in recommending restaurants at Old San Juan. Check out Blonda, Aquaviva, and Cafe Puerto Rico, the food was pretty good. Will stay again at this hotel!
The hotel is very atmospheric, beautifully decorated. Small, offering nice, cosy and stylish rooms. Staff very nice and supportive, as well as hospitable and attentive.
Wait for the restaurant though! It is small and yet it feels like a secret place. The Buddha statue is gorgeous and makes this place even more stylish. Great music assists simply divine food. In this restaurant food is just out of this world, I have never had better scallops in my life. Wine selection is excellent, so are cocktails served by wonderful waiters. This is definitely the place to go to.
The hotel has also lovely and stylish pool.
If you seek secluded place in vibrant Condado with the ocean around the corner and enjoy great food, it is a must on your map. Enjoy the place!

I had a great experience in this Hotel, it was very clean, it was very comfortable to stay in the room although it was a little small we enjoyed our 6 days vacation very much, their staff was so helpful to point us in the right direction so we can enjoy beautiful places, they even did laundry for us and I was so grateful for that because I didn't know where the laundromat was at. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to spend good time in Old San Juan.
Stayed in this beautiful, small but perfect hotel for a romantic getaway. . The beds are comfortable and our room with lagoon view was perfect. The rooftop area is the highlight of the property. With a bar, lounge areas and rooftop pool. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink or two. The breakfasts were just what you need to start your day. The staff was very helpful in booking our tours, recommending restaurants and shopping and just general information about the area and Puerto Rico.
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to San Juan and stayed at the Mariott Resort and Stellaris Casino. We had a wonderful time. The resort is in the Condado area and is right on the beach. There are two gorgeous pools as well. Everyone who worked at the resort was very friendly. The service at the bars and restaurant was exceptional. The food was very good and reasonable priced. The hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants. If you like to walk you can walk the 4 miles to Old San Juan or take a cab for $15. We are definitely planning to stay here again!
