As we recognize that our property is in need of updating, we are currently undergoing a $5M renovation. We are in the procees of completing our guestroom renovation. Our pool/patio area renovation is now underway. Our new Fitness Center will be opning in late December. The hotel lobby and lounge area will begin renovation in the next 30 days. “Nice new decor in room”

Very clean rooms with updated decor. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant & pool/workut area under renovations -this was clearly stated on website. However, bar had only 4 small tables & 3 bar stools. Not adequate for the number of pe.e who wanted to be seated

We have done our best to let our customers know about our renovation projects before arriving at the hotel. Due to very low occupancy during Thanksgiving week, we closed our main dining room. I do apologize for the lack of tables in the lounge area. We will certainly address this in the future. “Glitches”

Phones in room did not work to call front desk. Asked for forks/knife for cake, could not accommodate after hours. Electrical on 1/2 of room did not work. Menu came up on TV but could not watch regular channels. No garbage can in room.

“Better than adequate”

Restaurant closed for dinner Saturday; however full menu available at bar. Breakfast buffet barely adequat, if you like your scrambled eggs runnny. Room was well furnished and clean. Alarm clock inoperative or difficult to set.

“San Jose Wyndham improving”

I'd definitely recommend the hotel for any business traveler looking for a nice property very close to the San Jose airport. The room was very comfortable and room service was also reasonably priced. They are working on their pool area right now.

“Outstanding staff experiences.”

"CUSTOMER SERVICE" is outstanding. The staff understands how important their customers are.

Area recommendations

Our commute was between the hotel, San Jose State University and its athletic facilities. We were primarily there for the San Jose State Baseball tournament and the surronding areas of the university is impressive for quaintness and architectural history.
