“Great value in Silicon Valley”
I've stayed at the Wild Palms several times and have always been happy with the value offered. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the price is good. I always find the staff to be friendly and helpful, and it's well located for what I need. The breakfast is included, and it’s a reasonable selection with decent coffee. On the downside the decor is fading. The rooms on the Wolfe Street side can be very noisy with traffic. The breakfast room can get crowded, and tends to attract a lot of “people who wear baseball caps”. If you stay over the weekend there can be a few drunken parties. There is no bar if you fancy a drink at night, and no restaurant. There are a few OK restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of decent places to eat within a 10 minute drive. If you’re looking for solid value then this is an excellent choice.
“WildPalms @ Sunnyvale”
great hotel, nice decor, offers breakfast and great workers - always smiling!
“Great Business Hotel”
I stayed in this hotel on several occasions and was never disappointed. Internet access is included in the price and works flawlessly, which is important for me. The rooms are cheerfully furnished, and there is a desk with everything you need to get busy including paper clips and a power outlet for your laptop in easy reach. For those folks who like having a beer in the evening, two bars are located about 150 yards east from the hotel on the same side of the street. Pick the one with the blue awning and you may get a chance to sing karaoke with the regulars. Don't expect anything fancy. Expect fun.
“nice hotel”
it was a nice place. slightly thin walls.
“Good Escape”
This hotel managed to cancel out the noise of all the cars on the two streets surrounding it which was great. The blinds do let some light in so it is somewhat hard to go back to sleep once the sun is out. You could hear the people in the hallways which was a bit distracting at time. The feeling of the room overall was good, and they do a great job of having a closet with drawers.
“Clean Friendly Homey Hotel”
The room was clean and the people were friendly and took care of what we wanted. Easy access to the expressways.
“Comfortable pleasant stay”
Been to Wild Palms hotel twice now and both times I've liked my stay. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom nice and breakfast served in the morning is good with a variety of options. The service is very good and the staff very pleasant. The only complaint I have would be the TV's in the room. Flat screen would be nicer and more up to date;-) The pool area is relaxing and well maintained. I would deffinately stay again and would recommend this hotel to someone else.
“will stay again and again”
very very pleasant and quite with great room space and amenities
“Not what it appears to be.”
Thought the hotel/rooms would be nicer after seeing the pictures, but we were disappointed with the stains thruout the hotel carpet and stains on the furniture in our room. The website made it look like an exotic room, but that was far from the truth. It was a basic hotel room and nothing more. The free breakfast was not worth the trip to the dining room which was packed. Would definately try a different place next time.
“Very nice hotel”
Would definitely recommend this hotel... Got it for good price in expedia.com. The only minus thing I noticed is that the window blinds do not shut completely. So for some one who hates light while sleeping, this is a little discomfort. Other than that, it's very nice
