“Very Nice in San Jose”

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only real beef I had was some of tghe noise in the wee hours of the weekend. Also the remote on the TV did not work and there were only 2 channels. I guess I could have asked the desk staff about this, but do I really need too?

“Very accomodating”

For a Super 8 Motel, it was ok. We asked for a rollaway bed and it was there when we checked in. I was impressed with the service.

“Not at all family friendly!”

Horrible dirty room with strange stains on lamp shades. Prostitutes were very visible as we pulled around to park. Window did not have working lock on it. We felt unsafe staying there. We will never go back or recommend this place. Not at all kid friendly, unless you enjoy seeing pimps and ladies of the night standing outside their hotel room.

“Just average.”

The hotel is more of a motel. It's seen better days but it was relatively clean and average priced for the stay. Try not to get a room near the restaurant as they play loud music on the weekend nights. If you're an early sleeper, you'll have problems until about midnight. Also, the free internet is labeled "high speed" but it is more like "dial-up" speed and quite slow. The uploading speed is more than twice as fast as the download speeds. I measured it on one of those online speed tests at different times of the day and it was always slow. All in all, a decent room for an average price. Don't expect anything more than the basics - a room for the night. It was clean, but not enough to impress me.

“Couldn't Wait to Leave”

This hotel is a dive. The description of it said newly renovated, they must have missed my room. The bed was awful, TV was about 15 years old, the shower head was about four feet high. Don't be fooled by the free breakfast, it consists of two day old mini-muffins. The only good things were the free parking and the internet. We stayed there because we needed something last minute in that area, if you can, find someplace else.

“Average hotel”

Hotel staff friendly. Rooms clean. Outdoor pool looked nice but weather was too cold to use it. Overall an average stay.

“TOO NOISY, TOO LITTLE MAID SERVICE, ARROGANT MANAGER”

When we arrived, the room was stale with soiled and aged beddings. The blanket felt like a piece of sandpaper. We were placed in a downstairs unit where we could hear every disturbance from above us. People were leaving at 4am, so we were awakened at that time. Continental breakfast was same every day. OK, but -- juice machine was breaking down every other customer. No microwave in breakfast room. No hot chocolate. Rolls were stale and less selective by mid-week. There's only one maid to maintain the whole motel. Our room was maintained at the end of the day when we returned from having been gone for the entire day, every day of our stay. The Manager insisted we put the "Do Not Disturb" out. We insisted we deliberately took it off so that the room would be cleaned while we were gone. My husband quoted that, "it would seem that the customer is always right". However, the Manager argued with both my husband and myself.

“A pleasant surprise!”

I was in San Jose for business and just needed a simple room to sleep in so I wasn't about to spend the high price for a room at the hotel where the conference was held. Honestly, for the price I expected a real dive as I have been dissapointed in Super 8 hotels so many times in the past. But the Expedia reviews on the place were good so I decided to chance it. What I found was a room that was not fancy, but adequate. Located in a quiet area close to the convention center. The hotel manager was fantastic. Very helpful with directions and the like. But best of all, This was, by far, the cleanest hotel I have stayed at in many years! I carry a Gold Skymiles card so I travel alot and see a lot of hotels. While this is not the place for a romantic weekend get-a-way with my wife, it is perfect for the business traveler who needs a good clean room at a good price. For this purpose it gets an A+++.

“It was pretty good...”

Stayed there one night, it wasnt as clean as I would have like it to be, but overall it was a good place to stay. Its really close to the HP Pavilion, not walking distance but a 3 minute drive. Wouldnt mind staying there again.
