“Terrible!”

The hotel is very old, but clean enough. The parking lot is under major construction. It looks like a bomb exploded and heavy equipment has moved in to clean up the mess. We had to park away from the hotel in a dirt area that was covered with straw. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My husband and I went to the Los Gatos area to attend a concert. Glad we were there for just one night.

The hotel is right in Los Gatos. It is not fancy, but clean, well run, and very affordable. We would go back. I

“No Frills no Thrills”

This MOTEL was okay if you only needed to stay one night as you were passing through town. They have no staff on from 11PM - 6AM so if your room key malfunctions you are out of luck. They offer a pool at the Fitness club 1 1/2 miles away. They have no courtyard or any place to sit outside. We were there for the weekend and had some down time and we were stuck in our outdated room. One the good side bathroom was updated and clean. Staff was friendly.

“Comfortable at a budget rate”

The Los Gatos Moter Inn looked to me just like a motor inn that I remember from the 60's and 70's. It was conveniently located just off the freeway. The staff was courteous, and accommodating. The room was not fancy, but just what I would expect for a motor inn. It was quite comfortable, though, and wasn't cramped. Plus, the rate was the best around.

“Will NOT be going back”

I picked this place for it's location- which is great! Right off the freeway (no freeway noise) and close to shopping/dinning. CONS: Old and cheap- nothing has been updated. The mini fridge was broken, the comforter is scratchy and probably older than I am, the pillows are not comfortable nor the mattress, and we had to kill 2 HUGE black spiders during our stay. Their is no insulation- you can see light all around the door, which is probably why there were so many spiders. PROS: They do give you Organic shampoo/conditioner/soap every day. House keeping was good and the free breakfast was ok. This was our 2nd place of staying on our road trip we took- the Motel 8 we stayed at previously was WAY nicer/cleaner/updated! I WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN.

“no water, but it was a good hotel”

There is one con about this hotel, first the room was out of water for 6 hours. BBut the room was clean, and the conditioner was good

“I'll be back...”

I had a last minute work trip and this was very close to my client. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. I will stay there again on my next trip.

“The new tradition”

We love this friendly, convenient and very clean spot on the way to Santa Cruz. Since staying there last year, we have decided to make it a yearly treat for ourselves. There has been a lot of talk recently about the so-called "stay-cation." This is our version.

“Great Value for the Money”

This was my second stay at Los Gatos Motor Inn, and I was again quite satisfied with the experience. It's pretty much of a "plain Jane" motel, but it still manages to have most of the amenities that one would hope for including a mini-fridge, and an iron and ironing board in the room. It's also conveniently located right off the freeway and it's walking distance from Old Town Los Gatos. The only thing that I was disappointed with is that they no longer have a pool; they replaced it with a large grassy play area. Oh well, I guess that's a plus if you have small children. Overall I think the Los Gatos Motor Inn is an excellent value for the money.
