“We'll stay there again.”

Everything was fine except that there was a draft from the sliding glass doors on three very cold nights. Had to block the cold air with towels.

Downtown Los Gatos is very charming ....and expensive.

“No internet - hello??”

Advertised "high speed internet access". These days, that's a must. But whatever small modem they were running for the entire hotel was completely overwhelmed and effectively useless. Had to leave because of it. Oh and by the way, Los Gatos Lodge, bananas that are 3 weeks past their prime and completely brown do not comprise a "continental breakfast". You guys should be ashamed of your offering in both these areas.

“Good, moderate cost hotel.”

Quiet surroundings. Very clean room. Furniture could be updated. Lovely garden areas and sparkling pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Room service available, and breakfast included. Only one mile from main area of Los Gatos.

“Nice Place to Stay”

Nestled in the heart of small upscale Los Gatos, the Los Gatos Lodge was a very comfortable place to stay. The room was comfortable and clean, very basic. Noise control not very good as you can hear neighboring doors close and wonder if knocking is on your door or someone else's. The housekeeping staff was very efficient and seemed to get to all the rooms in the building very quickly. Would recommend putting out the "Do Not Disturb" sign in case housekeeping gets to your room before you're up and ready, they're there as early as 8:00 am! Conference facility was very nice. Continental breakfast was very basic and nothing special: hot oatmeal, cold cereals, sliced bread for toast, one type of homemade muffin, yogurt, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, coffee, orange juice. Although dining facility was available and seems to get good reviews, I opted to visit the local restaurants, which were very good.

Shopping

Visited downtown Los Gatos and found it to be a real treat. Lots of nice shops and boutiques. Nice selection of restaurants. Very clean and comfortable area.

If you're looking for a very basic motel, it's fine. Right off the 17 so it is convenient. The grounds are nice.

“Beautiful setting”

Loved the wood sculptures and all the trees. Also appreciated complimentary breakfast.

“Good place to stay!”

Very responsive to customer request. Room look new inside. Good for a one night stay.

“Good value for your money.”

Good stay except for Saturday night, when the place was packed with kids, young adults, who made a lot of noise. I was just about ready to call the cops when they quieted down. Breakfast was so-so. Room funishing very old, but clean. Would go back, as the price was right and a good value for your money.
