“Nice, Safe, Clean Hotel”

We stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel before flying out the next morning. On arrival our luggage was transfered from van to our rooms promptly and check-in personnel were professional and kind. The lounge/bar was relaxing and tastefully decorated. The room was clean. They offer free shuttle service to the airport. Worked out great for the eight of us in our group. The hotel had plenty of security which made it a comfortable stay.

“don't go here. Holiday Inn express was the best. Bad for travelers.”

In my opinion, this hotel was not as advertised. It is far from the airport and if there is traffic it can take upwards of 25 minutes to get to san jose airport. The shuttle only runs on the hour creating even longer waits for international travelers at the airport. The front desk staff was minimally helpful and did not have a good working knowledge of English. No free internet or international calls which many of the other airport hotels offer. The lobby and elevators were in disrepair. The business center was only opened to 6pm so if you needed to run off your boarding pass later than that you were out of luck. In my opinion, really a two star experience.

“It's easy at Corobisi”

From start to finish, my stay at Corobisi was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem I encontered was when I tried to make a reservation to the Japanese restaurant, Fuji, in the hotel. I was told there was no need, but when I arrived the grill for the Teppanyaki was reserved. Do not miss the breakfasts! Plenty of good food and you can eat and stay as long as you like. Breakfast by the pool was relaxing, and put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. By the way, wherever you eat, if the waiter suggests the "special," find out how much it costs first before you order.

“Not a great deal at all”

Not a great service at all - some misleading kick-back recommendations for dinner, taxi rides through the hotel with 3 time normal pricing and terrible service during the breakfast.

“corobici stay”

all in all, a good experience in San Jose as we needed a layover night prior to leaving. Happy to recommend it, particularly if you can get a good price.

“Loved it!”

Everything was extremely great. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The excursion office was fantastic and helped us to get wherever we wanted to go. The Japanese restaurant was great. Actually, the regular dining room was also very, very good. The entire staff in that hotel should be teaching other Crowne Plaza employees how to do their jobs and how to treat guests.

“One of the best in San Jose”

The Crown Plaza is an overall great place to stay in San Jose. For busines purposes or for leasure I strongly recommend it. It is in a great location with easy access to anywhere in San Jose. Great breakfast, and the Fitness Center is a Club quality level with all kinds of equipment. The rooms are in great shape because they where remodeled about 1 year ago. Overall superb value.

Traveller's tip

If you like sushi, I storngly recommend eating at the Hotel Sushi restaurant. The best!!!
