“Perfect Location”

Hotel was in a great location; easy walk to anything in the Warf area. Free parking was a real bonus for this area. the hotel was pretty old and not the nicest but was reasonable clean. Either the walls were really thin or we had the loudest snoring neighbor on the planet in the room next door. the street was pretty loud too. Taking everything into account, I WOULD stay there again. The location can not be beat for the price.

“Convenient location, rude service, and just "ok" room”

If your main concern is close location to Fisherman's Wharf and saving cost on parking, then this is the place for you. This is an older, unattractive hotel that feels more like low-income housing than a hotel. It serves the purpose for a hotel, but I will not be going back. The lady at the front desk was VERY rude. My nephew got carsick and I asked for directions to the closest coin laundry facility. She gave me directions and specifically stated, "TWO BLOCKS up the street". We walked four blocks and circled back to the hotel. When we returned she said, "FIVE BLOCKS up the street" and that I should have used my common sense to keep going. WHAT??? What ever happened to customer service?

“"Can't beat the location..."”

The Wharf Inn beats all contenders when it comes to location being situated a mere one block from the Fishermen's Wharf. With easy access to all points of interest in SF and "free" parking to boot, the value offered by the Wharf Inn is second to none. While the room was small, it came equipped with a "king's size" bed and was kept very clean on a daily basis by the hotel staff. The staff provided hot coffee 24/7 in the lobby and were most helpful in answering questions and providing information about SF and the environs. We would stay there again in a flash. Highly recommended for someone looking to get the most for less...

“excellent location”

Hotel was very convenient for fishermans wharf area. Make sure that you ask for room at back of hotel as front is very noisy at all times, Staff were friendly.

Getting around
We booked the hop off and hop on bus trip which we could use for two days this also included our ticket for Alcatraz trip, would highly recommend this way of getting around.

“Super Spot!”

I've stayed in this location before and paid double the rates plus parking. The Wharf Inn was a super deal and free parking! It is in a great location for all the activities for Fisherman's Wharf. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.I hate the pricey hotel rooms where you get one chair to sit in when the room is for two people-we actually had two comfortable chairs. I will definitely stay here again!

“Great location”

The Wharf Inn is in a fantastic location and value for money. The hotel staff were very happy to assist us with our late check out and information about the area and directions. Rooms were clean and I would definately love to go back. My family enjoyed our stay.

Area recommendations
Fishermans Wharf. Family friendly, great location with plenty of restaurants and activitied within walking distance. Safe to walk around day or night. Good shopping.
When to go
We were there in October and the weather was beautiful. There was no fog and the Bridge was clear to see all day for the 4 days we were there.
