“A Weekend San Francisco Getaway”

Everything about the W Hotel was perfect from start to finish. The customer service was spectacular. We got upgraded and were on the 30th floor with a great view of the city. Not that we spent much time looking out the window because we were busy exploring and sightseeing. I loved the window seat, the decor of the room and bathroom, and how comfortable the bed was.

“Truly Amazing!”

We stayed at the W hotel during the long Memorial Day weekend (May 25 - 28), and it was simply amazing! The hotel staff was great, they were at our disposal for any little request, and no request was too small or too big! I felt like we were treated like gold! A few examples to list: - We asked if we can move our room to a higher floor, and the young gentleman (Nick?) moved us without reservation and without additional charge! -It was pouring outside so my boyfriend had asked the young lady at the front desk if she had an extra umbrella, and she handed him two, for FREE! -After a long day of sightseeing, we walk into our hotel to find free samples of alcoholic goodness being passed around! (There was always complimentary water available and hot coffee in the mornings) - Lastly, we got so sunburned, yes this happens in San Francisco in 50 degree weather, and we had asked the front desk if they had any sun block to spare, she gave us a whole tube to keep! I highly recommend staying at the W hotel in San Francisco. It was truly amazing, and made our trip that much enjoyable!

“Consistently Good”

For those travellers that need that modern synergy, the W is the place to stay. With its' hip bar and lounge as well as young friendly staff, the W offers keeps a low profile but classy act. The XYZ restaurant is superb!!!

“In love with San Francisco and in W hotel!”

It was perfect in every way! the young employees at the front desk as the sign says, they will help you with everything anytime with every possible way. The little things in every corner of the room makes you feel home and very welcomed to stay. I stayed for a week with my 3 members of my family and we had one of our best stays.

“Great Beds Not so Great Service”

great view if you are facing 3rd street if you are facing the valet area you might only see ugly decrepit industrial buildings. beds are ultra comfortable, wonderful room decor stinks of cheap stuff found at a 99cent store. buddha lamp, can I say more. tacky and cheap, why do the lock the treats and drinks in the individual rooms. overpriced parking, staff is very reluctant to budge.

“A little hip for me, but good hotel”

Very comfortable hotel for business, well located near financial district. A little put off by lobby bar -- but its nicely isolated from guest areas. Overall, a good four-star.

“Great hotel in SF!”

Having always had bad experiences with high end hotels, I decided to give it one last go for the Thanksgiving holiday. From the moment we walked through the door at the W, we were greeted and asked if there was anything we needed before we checked in. The hotel staff were consistently helpful and friendly. I was sort of floored by it. The hotel and rooms are decorated with a more modern flair, but if that isn't your thing you might want to stay somewhere else. The XYZ restaurant was delicious and moderately priced. Beds were super comfortable and amazing views all around. Didn't get a chance to visit the pool, but walked into the work out room. Top of the line equipment in there. This hotel renewed my faith in higher end hotels. One drawback was the trendy hipster crowd at the bar. There was a fight that broke out one Saturday evening, but that happens in most bars I've been to.
