“I really like it here.”

My husband and I stay at this hotel anytime we need to be in San Francisco, mainly because we don't like driving in the city and there is a free shuttle to the airport and we can take the Bart into town. Of course the people that run this place are only human so they do make some mistakes. The room is always nice, BUT, if you don't like the sound of planes, then don't stay next to an airport. Breakfast is pretty good, waffles, eggs, sausage, country potatoes and of course the usual cereal, muffins bagels, etc. Breakfast is only from 6-9 just as a heads up you need to get up early for the free breakfast. They have free coffee, tea, juice and hot chocolate at all times and sometimes cookies. I will stay there next time I am in town.

“Location for my purpose was good. Bay view room was a good choice”

The location was good for my business trip. I used to stay at this motel over 35 years ago and this was my first visit back. I don't think they have updated the place since I was last there. The wi fi in the room did not work. I had to go to the lobby to get on the internet to do my work. This was not helpful. The breakfast area was very small but the food was fine. The staff were very nice and the parking was good and also free. Lot's of good places to eat within a couple of minutes of the motel. I think is was a good value for the price and I would use the Vagabond again for my business trip. Not good for a honeymoon however.

“right by the highway, slow internet with very high decor, not much kitchen though”

The place is right by the highway so make sure room is away from the noise. The mall, grocery store, theater are all just literally steps away. The Internet access is painstakingly slow. The rooms have been remodeled with very upscale furniture, spa soap, new carpets, etc. Can clearly hear other guests TV and vibration of walking from the above floor. There is plenty of windows, the curtains do a great job of muffling the sound so the highway was not a major concern. The shower pressure was mediocre, the heating in the room is a really old gas fireplace, with a bit of smell but still acceptable. The kitchenette is just that, no stove, but the microwave allows for heating up a soup. There is kitchen table with 2 chairs. The hotel staff was nice. The room felt very open with great morning sun if you are facing the theater.

“Great Place To Stay For A Great Price”

Stayed here when I came to visit my girlffiend. Nice friendly hotel staff and the room was kept clean. The continental breakfast was adequate. Sure beats having to pay for breakfast. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room as well as the free WiFi. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

“Comfortable Bed, Great Breakfast”

The Vagabond Inn near the SFO Airport was a great value! The king bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the free deluxe breakfast was great! Will definitely go back, if we need a hotel near the SFO Airport again! Benihana's and Elephant Bar are close by too!

“Gets the job done”

I think this hotel met and exceeded my expectations as far location and amenities go. I picked it becasue it was close to the airport/Bart and it had a refrigerator/microwave in the room. Also, the breakfast is awesome except it ends at 9am. The only exception to my satisfaction is that on my 2nd night, the Dish service went out in my room and when I called the front desk to get it fixed the woman basically offerred me no help. The satellite came back on somtime the next day but the customer service was unacceptable. Also, my phone stopped working the morning of my checkout. All in all, I would stay again because I really like the location and the amenities (when they work).

“Convenient to airport”

Used motel to stay one night prior to flying out of SFO. Our wake-up call came promptly at 4:00 am and shuttle runs every half hour to airport. Even though complimentary breakfast wasn't offered until 6:00 am, there was hot coffee as well as bananas and other fruit at 4:00 am. Room was comfortable and clean and front staff friendly and helpful. Can't speak to any other amenities as we were there for less than six hours and that was spent sleeping. We did appreciate having night stands on both sides of the bed.
