Not a good place

Posted 02-May-2015
I booked 5 days, and didn't even stay one. I checked out shortly after I checked in and went to another Hotel.

Not worth it's price.

Posted 01-May-2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Add AC, lower watt bulbs over bed lamp, fix door locks. Seal edges of the room doors and cover the windows above the door better, too much light leaks
Loved this old renovated building in a great central location, close to shopping, restaurants and transportation, but I wasn't thrilled with the room. For the price, I was really surprised how small it was, only 11x10 ft with a teeny bathroom that couldn't even fit a sink inside. The sink was in the corner of bedroom. More than the size of them room, I was surprised by how uncomfortable the bed was, that there was no AC (on a 93° day), and that the door didn't properly lock. Won't recommend to anyone.

Fantastische ligging

Posted 28-Apr-2015
Pros: Ligging, inrichting
The Mosser is een uitstekend hotel, met kleine kamers, maar dat wordt ruimschoots gecompenseerd door de uitstekend ligging.

Almost perfect!

Posted 27-Apr-2015
The hotel is located in such a convenient location! It's super easy to check in and the majority of the staff is super nice! The room was a little chilly and there wasn't an option for a space heater.... The one that was in the room was not in working condition, so that was unfortunate... But the room was comfy and spacious and the double windows kept out all the downtown noise! This is a perfect room for couples!

Great stay

Posted 26-Apr-2015
Hotel was great! friendly and helpful staff, wine tasting in the lobby, clean and comfortable rooms. There is a great parking garage a block away that have very good overnight rates. Also, plenty of shopping to be done in the area. I absolutely loved the hotel and will be back again!

San Fran School Conference

Posted 26-Apr-2015
I changed from The Bohemian ($255/night) to The Mosser ($136/night) last minute and don't regret it! Upon checkin, it was wine hour, and I received a complimentary glass of a Sonoma wine. The check in staff was quick, friendly, and quite professional. And the room was perfect! It was small and quaint, but very modern, and I loved how comfortable and inviting everything was. I paid extra for a private bathroom, and there was a deep enough tub to soak for a bath! I was also in walking distance to everything: The Orpheum Theater, BART, Union Square; and the Bay was only a 2 mile walk from me, as well. While the surrounding neighborhood wasn't the safest, I felt protected by the security guards and throngs of people. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Shared bathrooms?

Posted 25-Apr-2015
We pull up and park right in front. Go in, check in, and tell the valet what room we are in. We are then made aware that parking is $45! Seriously? Whatever. Don't have much choice. We then make our way up to the room. Walking down the hall I notice there are bathrooms. Open the door to our room, barely enough room for the bed, and no facilities? I'm sorry, I am not sharing 1 bathroom with a whole floor of guests. We left! Very upset. No where did it say anything about this.

Sound hotel in good location

Posted 25-Apr-2015
Pros: Ecological standing, location
Cons: More informative and receptive reception
Location: Alcatraz, trams etc.]
Spent two nights at the Mosser whilst visiting San Francisco and found the hotel very good. Location good for jumping on the trams to Fisherman's Wharf etc. Light on the breakfast as only offered coffee and muffins, but ok. Bedrooms small but very comfortable. Receptionists could do with being a little more receptive though.
