No room service for 2nd night but other places wanted $65 a night for parking and I saved $130 plus on 2 nights here. It was very conveniently located!

Nice and quaint little place to stay. Rooms were small and bit dated, but nice, clean and very affordable. The free onsite parking in the secure parking area was perfect. Conveniently located in between Chinatown and Little Italy. Walking distance to the Wharf. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location between Chinatown and North Beach. Clean, well-maintained 60's era motel. Not shabby with a bit of retro vibe. Free parking a definite plus.

This hotel is nicely located, pretty easy to get around the area. In Chinatown, so lots to offer there. I did not have a car, but parking may be this hotels best feature.

Stayed here for 5 nights and was really happy to have picked this place for our stay. Like others have said, the accommodations are modest, but our room was clean and in good condition. The free parking and awesome location are also hard to beat. We also walked every day to the Moscone center (about 20 minutes) and the walk felt very comfortable, both in safety and easiness. Would happily stay here again!

My room was spotless (apart for a small mark on one of the bath towels), and the bed extremely comfortable. I slept eight straight hours on it, which I rarely do. The bathroom was well stocked with various sizes of towels and flannels. The motel is situated on the border between Chinatown and Little Italy, making for some varied and interesting dining options. It overlooks a kindergarten, so it can get noisy at recess, but at other times it is very quiet. I was in room 401, which offers a decent view of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Friendly staff, very well located, affordable, clean room and free parking onsite. I woke up at 1am because of inconsiderate guests being extremely noisy and talking loud in the hallway, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. I recommend this hotel for a short stay in the city and will come back.

Spacious comfortable rooms in the heart of Chinatown. Lots of places to eat. Public transportation just steps away. Can be a bit noisy at times in the rooms with balcony facing the street.

Staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to meet the needs of their guests. The room itself is very dated and has no thermostat - a problem when it is unseasonably chilly in San Francisco! Still, the price is right and the location is excellent.

The check in went well and accommodated me arriving early. The property and surrounding g neighborhood are older but the place is kept clean for its age and my room on the 5th floor was clean as well. Free parking for my vehicle was the main reason I chose here and will stay for work again in the future if needed

This gem of a hotel scores 8 out of 8 in all the relevant categories, especially location and price. You won't find a better value for the money. If you want the scale to include up to 10, there are many dozens of hotels in San Francisco that will gladly charge you 3 or 4 times more than Royal Pacific for that privilege - with many getting you a 6 or 7 out of 10 for your money (I know, I've stayed in most of them)!

Clean, comfortable, great location.
Very nice staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is centrally located, making it a great location for walking distance tours of the main SF tourist sites and attractions. A big plus is a free parking on the premises, which is also closely monitored by the staff, accessible only in front of the reception, so fairly secure.

third time staying there, great location and value and can even safely keep your car there, which is very rare in sf. staff is nice and theres a security guard at night on premises. this hotel punches way above its weight
