“Windy”

Not a great hotel...completely dissapointed. There was an ongoing drift inside my room even with the A/C off, very dusty.

“Would deffinetly return”

Nothing negative to say about our stay. The staff was helpful and cordial, the hotel was Marriott so we knew the room would be just fine. Having breakfast and 3 nights of reception were a plus for getting the day started early. Our room was extremely quiet.

Getting around
We came specifically to see SanFrancisco. Should we return we would stay right in the city and not rent a car. There are shuttles from the airport to the hotels and lots of hop on - hop off tour buses making 20 stops at all the highlights in the city. Visitors can depart the bus, see the sights and pick up the next bus. There are bus tours for Muir woods, Carmel and wine country as well. Parking is a terrific headache to say nothing of expensive. In a week we spent close to $200. If driving be sure to get the GPS!

“Not for the business traveler”

I arrived at about 9:00pm and no food available - (no restaurant in the hotel) I picked this hotel because it was rated 5 starts by Exepdia user but...clearly for the family who wants to cook - not the business traveler. There wasn't even an ATM machine in the same building.

“always reliable, always a great experience.”

as a family we always stay at the residence inn oyster point when in the sf area. the hotel always meets and exceeds expectations and only great things can be said about the staff and people in the hotel.

“Awesome hotel!”

This hotel was awesome! We came from Ohio to San Francisco for our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved that they had a full breakfast every morning. The food was wonderful and it really helped us cut the cost of our trip. The area surrounding the hotel is gorgeous with a lake and a mountain to wake up to. The staff was courteous. The hotel room was quite comfortable. I liked that they had all the comforts of home...a microwave for leftovers and a fridge to store them in. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay there again. Oh--it is the only hotel I've ever been able to get some sleep in. The bed was just right.

Area recommendations
I liked Oyster Point Bay. It's near the airport and out of the hussle and bussle of the big city.
Getting around
Be sure to take the shuttle the hotel offers as driving in San Fracisco is crazy. People drive like maniacs and than traffic gets backed up for long periods of time. Take the worry off your shoulders and let someone else drive you around.

“Employees great”

“Great location by the San Francisco bay”

Our stay at this hotel was great. The breakfast was excellent and it was in a great location by the San Francisco bay. A walking path ran by the hotel. Our room included a kitchen. We could have stayed there for several days and cook from the kitchen instead of going out. I think if we visit this area anytime in the near future, we will be staying at this hotel again.

Area recommendations
Downtown San Francisco and Muir Woods are great local attractions in the area. This is one of my favorite places.

“Nice place reasonable price”

We enjoyed a great stay. Breakfast buffet was great and lots of choices for a buffet. Well located about 10 miles from Downtown and all attractions. You are very close to freeway and train tracks, train runs until about 10pm. Room was great and clean. Only issue we encountered was we made several requests for extra towels and pillows that we never received. Free parking a plus including the free shuttle to fishermans Wharf that runs on Fridays and Saturdays.

“Would return again, again and probably again.”

The Residence Inn by Marriott San Francisco Airport was friendly and accommodating to our requests including extremely late check in, room change, housekeeping requests which included borrowing extra furniture, utensils, and kitchenware.
