“Good Place to Stay in SFO”

This was our second time at La Quinta. The service was good, clean rooms, located close to the downtown.

“Great value, would surely go back!”

I researched hotels quite a bit before booking. This hotel was in great location and the reviews were decent so I decided to go here. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, the people were friendly, and the breakfasts were very good. A lot of food places deliver here which was nice. Only five minutes from the airport and probably 15 minutes from the attractions downtown. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“nice hotel and people icky location”

Hotel and staff were well above expectations. Location location location ---- If you don't mind waking to smell of onions being processed next to your hotel room there is not a lot to complain about. Hotel sits at corner of Airport and Produce Ave's - guess what kind of produce was being processed when I stayed there? Onions of course!

Closer to convention center is probably better - just the other side of highway 101

“Great service, great price”

The hotel is located in aninteresting area, I think there's a produce warehouse on the plot of land and the train tracks that seperate the two sides aren't much to look at. For the price though, you can't go wrong. THe staff was very nice and accomodating.

“a really good room”

booked this room at the last minute, and got a good rate, plus they allowed our cat. Not sure what the other rooms are like, but our room was great. I spend about 150 nights per year in hotels, and this one was way better than La Quinta's reputation led me to expect. Definitely recommended.

“"We would certainly book this hotel again"”

On our 4 day mini family vacation to San Francisco we chose this hotel thru the "unplublished rates option" where we received a very good discount on our room. This was the first time we have ever used this booking option and we would definatley try it again! As far as the hotel itself it is very conveniant to the airport and it also provides a regular 30 minute shuttle to and from the airport which allowed us to use the BART system to downtown. The hotel is somewhat dated but seems to be very popular with business people and airline pilots. The bedding and towels were pure white and the hotel provided a wonderful complimentary breakfast! The hotel staff was fantastic and even went out of their way to ensure the breakfast bar was open for us before our early morning flight!! PS...If you plan to sight see in San Francisco you MUST buy the "Wharf Passes" available at Pier 39...best value for those who want to do a boat cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz, 2 hour double decker bus tour around the city, check out the Aquarium, "gocar" rentals etc..

“Cheap and close to the action”

Convenient location, although next to railroad tract and freeway. Nevertheless, very clean, comfy beds and free parking!
