Decent location, but uncomfortable rooms

Posted 09-Sep-2014
Cons: New beds, new furniture and new pillows. Any maybe some curtains so it doesn't feel like everyone can see into your room at night.
Location: Fisherman's Wharf is close and you'd be near trolley line F.
With a spectacular view into other people's room, this hotel will will make you wish you crashed on the airport benches for a more restful and comfortable sleep. The mattress needs replacing as do the pillows. I woke up with a kink in my neck and a sore back that lasted the whole day. The room furniture had stains. The shower head had water pressure that came out in barely more than a trickle. The sheets were clean.

Hotel stay

Posted 09-Sep-2014
Pros: close to FW
Cons: see above
no lft access to the rooms from the lobby area if you have big heavy suticases valet parking was too expensive and reckon is should be free if you are staying there as an insentive no refrigerator facilities to cool drinks, etc no access fro the hotel to the airport breakfast not included in the hotel stay but cafe across the street was recommended!!! why can;t that service be provided in the hotel instead view outside the window was another hotel room

Expected more

The Hyatt is a nice enough hotel but not worth the price. There are comparable hotel in the area for less. We booked a kong bed but couldn't have that night one - instead a twin. No apologies just an inconvenient move the next day. Then a maintenance issue in the new room And a shambles at the $50 a night valet parking with 2 days in a row on nearly 30 minute wait times.

Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf

Posted 05-Sep-2014
Pros: location
Cons: service
Location: 3 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf.
Room was average, bed was great. Staff was ok, reminded us of fake air hostess skits... you know, Bu-bye, Bu-bye. But they got the job done. So if you're looking for friendly, this isn't your hotel. Parking $50/day & valet took forever. We stayed 4 nights & the valet never got any better so be sure to call for your car before you head to the elevator. It was an ok place in a great city.

Nice hotel by Pier 36

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Hotel was comfortable. It is located a few miles from Pier 39. No complaints. One of the elevators was oout of service, but it did not prevent me from getting to my room. There were protestors outside as I was leaving the hotel, which delayed us from leaving at check-out.

Close to Wharf

Posted 02-Sep-2014
Pros: Proximity to Wharf
Cons: Condition of furnishings
Location: Great location. Close to cable cars but long lines
It was a spur of the moment trip so fine for not booking in advance. Elevator was far from room.

It's a fake Hyatt

Posted 31-Aug-2014
Pros: Nothing except that they didn't charge me valet and internet for the inconvenience
Cons: Cleanliness, working lamps and drapes, soda machines
Location: Only good part
Dirty, drapes chain was broken, tv was inadequate as well as broken elevator and soda machine ate my money on two floors. Front desk did bring me a couple of pepsi's at no charge.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff.

Posted 29-Aug-2014
Pros: The room was good and very comforting but the staff made our stay.
Cons: Didn't really approve of paying extra for parking, I thought it was expensive!
Location: Location ideal. fishermans wharf, Alcatraz, pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge!!!
The Hyatt is positioned in such a lovely place in fishermans wharf where you are close to the action of getting a boat to Alcatraz etc as well as having beautiful facilities like swimming pools, bars... The rooms are outstanding with lovely en-suites and the staff could do no more to help especially the receptionists! Off to sharm El Sheik in 6 weeks to stay in a Hyatt again!!!

Completely over priced.

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Valet Parking was $50.00!!!!! Not only that, they charged parking tax of $3.50 That's highway robbery! I listened to noisy traffic all night and the air conditioning didn't work well and was loud. Bed was comfortable. The tub was stained and looked super dirty. The hotel staff was great, everyone was friendly.
