Amazing staff!!!

Posted 18-Jul-2014
From the time we pulled up to the hotel, everyone was very helpful and friendly, although we recieved an excellent deal on our room for 2 nights in San Francisco we were treated like we were the most important guests there, the level of professionalism and respect was the best we have ever recieved at a hotel, This Hotel Is now our destination whenever we come to San Francisco!!! Thank you to the whole staff at the Hyatt!!!!

Greetings, Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback from your most recent stay with us at the Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf. We often hear enthusiastic remarks on our great location. There are so many attractions that San Francisco has to offer and we are lucky enough to be near most of them. We will be sure to thanks and recognize our team members for your compliment on great customer service. We can't wait to welcome you back in the future. Warm regards, Drew D.-Guest Relations Associate

Not thrilled

Posted 14-Jul-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Much
For a Hyatt, I was quite dissapointed with the overall condition of the hotel. If I was staying at a lower level chain (and paying the lower amount) I would have expected less. It seems that the only part of the Hyatt brand that they remembered with this property was the cost of my room per night. The room was substandard and the overall hotel was underwhelming. I would not stay here again.

Nice but not a real Hyatt.

Posted 09-Jul-2014
Does not live up to the expectations of a Hyatt. The beds were too soft and it was really stuffy. I would strongly suggest staying across the street at the Holiday Inn; at least you get breakfast and the views are spectacular!Overall, San Francisco was definitely an experience of a lifetime.

Nice Hotel in the Fisherman's Wharf

Posted 06-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff especially, Jorge, the bellhop ! He rocks !
Cons: The rooms and the control of children at night
Location: Fisherman's wharf !
The hotel is pretty. The room was nice but, I expected more form the internet advertisement. I was disappointed that as an adult, I should have to be over run by children running and screaming in hallways in the hallways at all times of night. Perhaps, they should try to designate a special floor for the kids. What makes the hotel a pleasure was the staff ! They knocked themselves out to be so helpful ! That made up for the the things that needed improvement on !

A Just Okay Stay

Posted 04-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff was lovely and helpful.
Cons: Give free wireless internet to guests
The hotel itself was lovely, but the location in Fisherman's Wharf left much to be desired. The area is filled with touristy, kitschy attractions and stores, as well as many homeless people. I was also disappointed that this hotel still charges guests to use internet in their rooms. I think it's ridiculous. I also found the mattresses to be rather lumpy.

Pricey but plush accommodations

Walking distance to Wharf and cable car that takes you to Union Square etc. Hollywood cafe across the street is a must epicurean experience. Would be nice if pool/hot tub had longer hours, especially into the evening.

Cons: If accessibility elevator is unavailable, at least have temporary ramps for strollers, luggage and persons with disability
Location: Great location, family friendly, walking distance to main attractions- very convenient which was main reason for our stay.
enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.
