worst hotel I have stayed in a long long time.

“All good except hot water”

We stayed over Thanksgiving - the place was full for a couple nights, but rooms were cleaned quickly. Bed was comfortable, room a little cramped but just fine, we didn't plan to spend lots of time there. Good tv service. Free wireless. The only issue we had - no hot water - well, not enough of it. We got about 1 minute of hot water then it ran cool. Turned off the water, wait about 5 minutes then you got another minute or 2 of hot water. We talked to the front desk and they said no one else was complaining so it couldn't possibly be an issue. They actually argued with us about it. We were offered another room when one came available (after a couple days of our stay). Would probably stay again because of price and location. But truthfully for a few dollars more you can stay next door at some very new properties (3 literally across the street which is where I will stay next time) (but Hotel San Carlos does have a nice pool).

Hotel was quiet and clean, had microwave and refrig in room. Bed comfortable. Bathroom floor was not very clean and only two towels provided. Try to get a lower floor as must go up a series of stairs for second floor.

“Great Value for Money”

A great value for money place, which includes the bed and breakfast everyday. You get free wireless access and parking. The pool is small as compared to what it appears in the pictures and closed in winters. The hotel is close to lot of restaurants in the area which serve good food. I would recommend the hotel for shorter stays.

“Location excellent for our trip”

Our room was very clean and was kept that way every time we returned each day.

“Not a bad hotel if the price is right”

The hotel is a smaller, older motel. It provides a continental breakfast, but it is a minimal breakfast; a waffle machine, a toaster with bread, danish, a pitcher of milk and a juice machine. However in spite of the hotel's limitations it is clean, freshly painted, well maintained and well decorated. Our bathroom, while a little on the small side was beautifully tiled. The room was neat and clean and the hotel does have a little charm. The hotel was part of bargain air fare/hotel package, and since we got it at a great price we were totally satisfied. I would not be willing to pay full price for this hotel, however.

“Clean and Nice”

This was clean and nice. I was worried that it would not be considering it was cheaper than surrounding hotels, but I was pleasantly surprised. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast because on the first day when we tried, it was locked though it was supposed to be open. Friendly desk guy and clean property.

“Convinient hotel”

This hotel was easy to find. Nothing fancy but it had the basics for a comfortable stay..clean, friendly staff, walking distance to restaurants and some shopping. Quick drive to the cute downtown San Carlos.

“For the price its fine.”

Older hotel, need some updating but the bed was comfortable and room was clean. Dish network has lots of choices for programming if your stuck in your room.
