“maid was rude”

maid open the door right after 2knocks and asked when we're going to leave for 2consecutive days at 8;50 AM. I felt like I was kicked out of this hotel.

“In the middle of Nowhere”

Hotel really is in the middle of nowhere, very limited facilities in the area to eat if like me you arrive after 10pm, the hotel is clean, comfortable, functional but there is really only 1 place to eat after 22:00 thats Knuckles Bar within the Hyatt Hotel across the road, also paid for a pool view room, , was given a room overlooking the car park,

“Great Hotel for the money!”

We were well pleased with this hotel overall. Clean, nice staff, good breakfast. Great location if you don't want to be in the city. Easy freeway access. 15 min to downtown.

“Not impressed”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because of it's location and good reputation of Holiday Inn Express Hotels. Well let me tell you something, the room's AC didn't work, so they had to move us to another room. The second room was not that clean, even though the housekeeper "cleaned" the room almost daily, it didn't look clean. One day we asked her to change the linnens for clean ones and when we came back, discovered there was a nasty blood stain on the sheet that covered the beed. It was big enogh for her to see it, still decided to leave it like that. Breakfast was so so, very inconsistent. The front desk personnel was not that friendly, just very dry and inexperienced.

Area recommendations
San Francisco Bay is a beautiful place! It's very clean, people are kind, friendly and helpful. Food is excellent, it doesn't matter where you go to service at restaurants is very good. One of my favorite places to go to was Pier 39, loved all the shops and restaurants.

“Fine for an overnight”

The room was small but fairly clean. Hotel staff are friendly, buffet is decent quality and variety. Noise levels from the airport were decent. If you get a good rate, this is a good deal.

“Great Park/Fly/Stay package.”

Great accommodations and the breakfast was delicious with abundant choices. Would use this park/fly/stay again. again.

“GOOD OPTION”

It is one of best place for transit or for the business between SF and Silicon Valey area. Reasonable price. Clean room and nice bright lobby.

Getting there
One of best SUSHI restaurant near the hotel, 10min drive. SAKAE SUSHI is not a fake, not a chinese/korean shef but authentic Japanese guy. That was a great night when I took my customers.

“Smaller Holiday Inn Express”

This Holiday Inn Express is very close to the airport although you would need a car to take advantage of the great eating places in the surrounding neighborhoods. It's easy to get in and out of the freeway.The front desk, cleaning and breakfast services were very good. However, if you are traveling with family, in my case 4 of us, the room is smaller than the other holiday inn express hotels we've stayed at. The beds are very uncomfortable and the bathroom is very small.

Area recommendations
Near the Milbrae BART station, there are a lot of chinese, mexican, indian and other ethnic restaurants to try. If you have high school kids, take them to UC Berkley and Stanford at Palo Alto. If you have car and time, you have to take Highway 1 either going to Monterrey or North. If you're in SFO Union Square area, there's a small noodle shop on Powell Street near H&M that serves really good food. CASH only.
