“Met Expectations”
Don't forget to add the expensive nightly parking fee to whatever room rate they quote. One of many very boring hotels in that area. Of the bunch it is the one closest to the highway, furthest from the running path along the water. The downtown area on the other side of the highway (use footbridge or drive) has restaurants. All of the in-hotel restaurants in this area are terrible values.
“Good Hotel”
Perfect location, not too far from Frisco, The location offers a relaxed enviornment away from the city traffic jams. The sorrounding neighborhoods offer some rather good eats and shopping.
“The price was right but the rooms were just ok.”
Room was ok and the interstate was a little loud but location was good and fairly close to airport. Because I booked through Expedia they wouldn't honor my Priority Club points and I couldn't receive any points for my stay.
“Ok, but probably won't go”
Hotel was clean and near the airport.
“One day at the Crown Plaza”
This Crown Plaza is good for what you pay. The food is really good but a bit pricey. The room is noisy but then again you are close to the airport and next to a freeway. I wouldn't mind staying here again.
“We alwasys stay here”
whenever we travel, this is the place we stay the night before our flights. It's very clean, the location is perfect and the staff have always been very nice to work with.
“Nice for the money.”
Room was small but comfortable. Nice for the money.
“Couldn't wait to leave. Too close to the freeway.”
We were put in a corner room on the fourth floor and it was so close to the freeway that we might as well have been sleeping in our car. We called down to asked if we could change rooms and were told it was sold out. We truly didn't believe that. They actually had a supply of earplugs in the room. Also the headboard was loose and everytime we we moved around it made a banging noise against the wall. I like to sleep in but I was up by 5 am because it was so loud. Couldn't wait to get out of that room. Never stay again.
“SFO Arport Hotel Stay”
Convenient and close to the airport with free shuttle.
“Crowne Plaza - Good location but extra charges”
Overall, the hotel is acceptable and a good choice if you're getting into SFO late and don't want to drive far. Very good location if you want easy access to the freeway. However, take into consideration that there is a parking charge of $18.00 per day. This charge along with an almost $20 minimum charge for breakfast will easily add an extra $40 onto your bill. In addition, the hotel physically sits right next to the northbound 101 freeway. Thus, any rooms on the side facing the freeway will have some freeway sound. However, the hotel automatically places an eye mask and ear plugs on each bed which is helpful.
