The only thing I would recommend to do better is the supplies. A few times we had ask for soap.

“Charming Hotel!”

Great location, nice staff, charming hotel. We had a room facing Lombard Street, cute bay windows allowed for better view of city. Our floor had a sitting area at the end of hallway which faced the Golden Gate Bridge, not sure if all floors have this, but what a nice touch. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace at night when the city lights came on. We saw a family enjoying breakfast on rooftop terrace one morning, great idea! Parking is free but a bit tight, however, hotel staff will help with any parking situation, therefore parking is not a problem. This is an older, but charming hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again next time we're in San Francisco.

“Great service!”

Located on Lombard Street, this hotel has a great 3rd floor view of the bridge. The staff were all very helpful and nice. I had a great stay!

“Buena Vista Motor Inn.”

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location very convenient to golden gate bridge, Fishermans wharf and others. Situated both on or very close to the major bus routes.

“Good Value”

Stayed here two nights and really enjoyed it. Walk a few blocks to the marina or to catch the cable car. Viking is an excellent deli sandwich place across the street. Very basic breakfast: fruit, roll, and coffee . . . and off you go.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpfull and courteous. Enjoyed our stay. Close to transportation (buses) and only a mile from Fishermen's Wharf.

“Can't wait to return”

We really enjoyed our stay in San Francisco. We were close to lots of fun neighborhoods. We loved exploring Union Street, North Beach, and the Fillmore area. We found it easy to take the bus to downtown and the Haight district. We found great shops and restaurants.

“Will be back - great hotel”

We had an amazing stay in San Fran, made more so by the super helpful and friendly staff, who were full of information and more than willing to help us in the right direction. It was great not to have to worry about breakfast in the morning, although basic (pastries, fruit, coffee and juice) it set us up for the day. The location was convenient for multiple bus routes, and was a short walk away from Fisherman's Wharf and the cable cars. We even walked down Lombard St to see the crooked st and to Coit Tower, a stretch on the legs but a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. Rooms were large, comfortable and quiet.

Excellent place for the price. It was all we needed for this trip.

Everything was awesome!!! Hotel was great! Perfect location! Best bang for your buck! Dont overpay for a hotel stay, when your not going to be in the room except to sleep! This was the perfect place!
