Lovely hotel in the middle of a beautiful network of vineyards. There are restaurants nearby and easy access into Santa Cruz by car / taxi. The staff will help organise wine tastings in the local area.

I was not ready to leave.
Beautiful hotel with exceptional customer service and views. They arranged for massages in our room, one night was so cold we wanted some soup and they called around to the different restaurants and found us some soup. Way to go above and beyond. Delicious breakfast, beautiful views, lots of vineyards near by. The one bad thing is the parking lot, if it's been raining expect lots of clay like mud everywhere. We had to clean our shoes every night. Other than that is a 10 out of 10. Can't wait to go back. Thank you everyone for an amazing experience.

Peaceful and wonderful stay.
I absolutely loved this hotel. It was so peaceful and calm. The mattress was lovely and I had the best night’s sleep. Although I came in winter time so the vines weren’t in fruit, it was still nice to see how the estate would look when it warms up, and the backdrop with the mountains behind was gorgeous. The food in the restaurant was beautiful. And the Sommelier keen to advise me on which wines would complement my meal that evening. The hotel helped me organise excursions such as a wine tour of some local vineyards and horse riding, and were very patient with me when I stumbled over my Spanish. Travelling solo, the staff were extra kind to make sure I was ok, and one waitress in particular at breakfast was very sweet. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone, as I had such a lovely stay.

TerraViña was great. The grounds were welcoming. The room was clean and spacious and overlooked vineyards. They surprised us with a bottle of wine and a welcome note congratulating us on our 34th wedding anniversary. The buffet breakfast had many choices including cooked-to-order eggs. Their onsite restaurant was convenient for our first night. They are located centrally to wineries and other restaurants. We recommend it as a place to stay.

Good location, great staff and comfortable
Terra Vina is a nice hotel, just outside of town. It’s surrounded by vineyards, and is convenient to everything. The front desk staff is very helpful, and are “English Friendly “. They will make reservations for you, give helpful advice, and are all around a joy to interact with. The breakfast has fresh fruits, fresh breads, eggs, cereals, etc. We didn’t eat any other meals there. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We ate at Vino Bello, restaurant next door, and it was good and reasonably priced. You can walk to the Laura Hartwig winery too. All around good experience

Terra Vina—The only place to stay in wine country!
What a wonderful welcoming hotel in the middle of the vineyards. We had room 20 on the upper level with vineyard views and balcony overlooking them! The bed is lovely as are the pillows. A/C was great - it was hot during the day up to 104F. The staff are amazing- reception helped us arrange tours and reservations for dinner and tasting. We stayed 7 nights and it felt like home. The breakfast was fabulous- eggs cooked to order, fresh fabulous Chilean fruit, coffee,tea,breads for toasting, kuchens, meats and cheese,marmalades- just the best breakfast to get you ready for the fantastic wines in the area. I loved the fact that they really know the wineries and could send us to some great wineries that we would not have known. The owner lives onsite and wrote us directions to the airport, called our rental car place and everyone just goes out of the way to make sure everything is wonderful. The restaurant is great- we tried others nearby that quite frankly were not as good. I love that we could walk to dinner and not worry about getting a taxi or driving. There is a nice pool on the property and places to sit outside and drink ur wine. What can I say? This is the place to be in wine country!

Lovely staff right from the start with a warm welcome. The breakfast at the dining room was outstanding, really great range of foods, especially the fresh local fruits. Dinner was also very good. Comfy beds and nice balcony overlooking the vineyards. The shower could do with a bit of an update and the pool was a bit cloudy but the property has charm and we were well looked after.

The property is ideally situated for exploration if the surrounding wine growing areas. They were very helpful in putting us in contact with an economically priced driver to ferry us around the local wineries.

Nice location. Walking distance of a couple of restaurants and a vineyard. Surrounded by vines and prettier than their headline pic! They also assisted with sourcing a great driver, Pablino, for our wine tastings. However, their restaurant was closed, which was disappointing and catering service was limited to a cheese plate (limited hours) and a poorly stocked bar. Staff were helpful enough but the place needing investment, and some new ideas...

Very relaxing in a great setting amongst vineyards. Pool needed cleaning. Dead flys and bugs floating around in it. Restaurant was closed on Monday night and walked through vineyards to next door restaurant. Was very dark and a bit scary coming back. Big spacious rooms with balcony

Great views from balcony. Two nearby restaurants were excellent. Walking thru the vineyard in the daytime to get to one was fun. We had to depart before breakfast and they arranged a nice setting and simple breakfast for us. Much appreciated. They made reservations for wine tastings and dinners, a great convenience.

Stunning views for a relaxed stay
Picturesque location within walking distance of two restaurants and in the middle of the Laura Hartwig vineyards. Pool is nice and the rooms have stunning views. Service is adequate. Wish there was better attention to food/drink service during the day... the pool is perfect for a glass of wine, but the hotel does not have any dedicated staff for this. Also would be great if the onsite restaurant was open for lunch and dinner!

The property is set in the middle of the vines of the neighbouring winery. You couldn’t ask for a better location! The rooms are comfortable but lack basic amenities such as tea and coffee making facilities or a fridge. The staff were so lovely and made you feel really at home and would do anything for you with a happy smile (when we needed hot water or use of a fridge) Unfortunately the hotel’s restaurant is not currently open and just serves breakfast. This is very good and has many options. There are however 2 good restaurants within walking distance of the property, a middle of the road Chilean restaurant that is inexpensive with a good atmosphere and a beautiful Italian restaurant that is a little more pricey but the food service and location is very pretty. The property is close to town. We had a car and could get to the centre within 5 minutes, you could however walk and I recon it would take no longer than 30 minutes

Fabulous
We had an amazing stay at Terra Viña. From the moment we checked in until we left, the hospitality and ambiance far exceeded our expectations. Prior to our check in the property contacted us to see if we wanted to book the restaurant for the first night. When we arrived before their check in time they directed us to a fabulous restaurant down the street. Before we went for lunch we asked them if they could arrange some wine tastings. By the time we came back from lunch the receptionist had arranged a full day of tours, lunch and a driver. When we got to the room it was as advertised. It overlooked vineyards from the entrance side and from the terrace. The pool and sitting area were well maintained and inviting. The room had hardwood floors. It’s simplicity absolutely worked. Breakfast was served in our room as we were there in off season and we could order standard Chilean fare, ie. eggs, ham, cheese, toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, freshly squeezed juices and tea or coffee. We walked through the vineyards adjacent to the property. It was a truly wonderful stay. The only criticism would be that like in most places we stayed in Chile, the wifi didn’t work in the room and we could only get one tv channel. We were in our room so rarely it was ok for us. When we go back to the Cochagua valley we will definitely stay here again

A bit out of the way but worth it.
Arrived late but was welcomed by the night staff. Quaint hotel, comfy bed, great self service cold breakfast and fresh to order hot items. Nice outside pool set in lovely well maintained grounds. Tourist vineyards within 10-15 min drive. Onsite parking as a car is necessary to get to the hotel. Will stay again if in the area.

Beautiful property - loved that it was an intimate setting right in the grapes! Able to walk through the vines to dinner. Staff was very friendly and made recommendations for dinner and things to do. Even a friendly dog & cat who lived there :)

Middle of vineyard.
We had a very relaxing time at this hotel. There was a pool so we spent time keeping cool and meeting other tourists. Through the vineyard, there were walking paths that took us to two great restaurants. We were able to rent a taxi at a reasonable cost and we toured a couple of wineries.

Lovely, comfortable Hotel near Santa Cruz
Very nice hotel, close enough to Santa Cruz city centre for any needs, dinner, etc. The beds and rooms are, if not luxurious, very clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast is plentiful, with fruits, eggs, home-made bread, pastries, etc. Over-all, I would definitely come back.

Wonderful hotel among the grapevines.
Incredibly serene hotel among the grapevines. The rooms well decorated and appointed. The balcony overlooking the vineyards was a romantic treat. The staff was very accommodating. Close to some of the best wineries in Colchagua. The pool was inviting. A small bar with a nice selection of Chilean wines and other spirits was open 24x7. Breakfast buffet was lovely. There's an excellent restaurant within walking distance as well as a restaurant opening onsite later this month.

Tranquility in the heart of the vineyards!
This was an excellent hotel located literally in the middle of the vineyards of Santa Cruz. Easy to get to from the bus station. Hotel staff was incredibly helpful in working out bus arrangements over Christmas weekend. They were life savers! The hotel has a modest breakfast buffet, but will prepare eggs to order if you ask. There are two very fine restaurants within walking distance of the hotel - using paths through the vineyard - so don't forget the flashlight!

This was our second stay at the property.
We came to Santa Cruz on our return trip from the Lake District. We again enjoyed a warm welcome, efficient check-in and good quarters. We ate again at the nearby restaurant, which you get to on foot. Recommend hotel and restaurant.

Relax in wine country.
It is so quiet here, no busy noise. You wake up in the morning to birds in the grapevines. We were tired after our day of wine tasting, so we didn't walk to one of the two nearby restaurants. The breakfast provided by TerraVina was excellent the next morning and fueled us for another day visiting wineries. Laura Hartwig wine tasting is right next door and has fine wines. The wine bar at the hotel is open 24 hours & offers wines from other nearby vintners. If I was driving myself this would have been a good choice.
