The hotel is tastefully decorated with many antiques. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner (Mauricio) added a personal touch to the visit and suggested area activities. Well located for walking access to the town plaza. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great Boutique Hotel in Santa Cruz Chile
The Hotel is Beautiful and full of interesting antiques. Staff is as good as it gets. Location was easy for long walks around town. Breakfast was made and delivered with a smile. Great experience.

I struggled to put my finger on why I was so aggrieved by my stay at this venue. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean, what’s not to love, right? In short, this venue would make a perfectly good cheap and cheerful home stay on AirBnB but it is absolutely not a boutique hotel. Which is what it is marketed as. We chose it due to the very high ratings on various sites. It looked a little quirky, but with good ratings it should be fun, right? First impressions are of a slightly cluttered Manor House. However, on closer inspection it’s the indiscriminate contents of a yard sale which has been dumped into too little space. Our room was one flight of stairs up. No lift and no porter. So definitely not a boutique hotel. The hotel amenities were also poor. The soap dispensers in the shower were that horrible antiseptic foam stuff which you get in airports. The bedrooms all lead off the central room and the walls are thin, so one ends up with any single social group staying up and having a chat disturbing everyone else. We had to ask the very nice Brazilian team who were also staying to please move somewhere else as we weren’t able to sleep. The location is basically in a light industrial area. Oh, and the lingering concern of carbon monoxide poisoning and the chemical smell from the leaking anthracite burner didn’t help. This place should be in the USD 30 to 60 per night zone but we were charged USD 130 per night. I felt we had been grossly mis-sold

A unique find in Chile’s wine country.
This amazing small hotel is full of antiques which are unique and frequently have a story behind them. The owner and his staff are warm helpful people. I’d happily visit this hotel again

Small B&B, friendly staff. Great spot for starting a wine tasting tour. Made the stop on our honeymoon and the staff worked hard to make the trip special--helping us book tours and organize our travel plans.

Hotel over filled with old furniture, floors squick, two floors so you have to carry your lounge up these narrow steps to top floor, parking is very bad, had to park on street with no security.

This hotel is absolutely the best! We were thrilled with all the treasures and antiques housed in this hotel. The staff is excellent, the room superior and the bed was the most comfortable we slept on in 2 months of travel. Cannot miss this gem!

Great location for this charming hotel
More like a cozy bed and breakfast than a hotel, Vendimia has a wonderful, helpful staff and a delightful interior filled with antiques, a large selection of wines, and beautiful rugs. The courtyard in the rear, with pool, was the perfect place to relax, especially in the evening. It was an easy walk (less than ten minutes) to the town square; in the middle of wine country, it was also easy to drive to the wineries. We had a great experience at the hotel: great room, great people, and great food!

We had a great time at Hotel Vendimia. We came in early on Saturday morning from Santiago, and planned to visit wineries in the Colchagua Valley all day. The hotel staff let us check in early, and keep our things in the office while we adventured throughout the day. When we got back to the hotel, our things were already in our room. We were offered a great breakfast spread (option in room delivery or downstairs), were given free WiFi access, and overall greeted warmly by the staff. The hotel itself is a nice little find in the neighborhood. While the I'm unsure of the surrounding area, I felt safe and comfortable at the hotel. It has charming, antique decor, and was clean - that really added to the coziness of the hotel. We also came from the U.S., and it was helpful that main point of contacts of the staff spoke English.

Fabulous service! Rodrigo and Juan Pablo were superb. I felt like royalty. Anything we needed they took care of. Reservations for food, taxi, car rental wineries, tours etc! Amazing experience

This is a House/Hostel not a Hotel.
Very small parking lot with a sign that reads: "We are not responsible for what happens to your vehicle while you stay", which is illegal in Chile and in most civilized countries. I was offered a room with a King Size bed and I found myself sleeping in a couple of full sized mattresses joined by a cover. I asked for a cold bottle of Espumante and after 34 minutes I was brought one at room temperature inside an ice bucket. Very poor breakfast. Pool was not sanitized properly, no chlorine at all. This is not a Boutique Hotel, and it is not worth more than two hundreds dollars a night. Disappointing for Expedia!. Never will come back.

Nice one night stay. Room comfortable but slightly overdone with knick knacks and decorations. Good breakfast. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The visit to the museum is well worth it and LaFamiglia Italian restaurant has delightful food.

Walking distance to all the main restaurants in Santa Cruz. Easily accessible to multiple vineyards in the area. Very helpful and friendly staff - always willing to go above and beyond.

Lovely Little Hotel
First rate little Hotel. It has the intimacy of a B&B while treating you like a hotel (e.g no curfew). The staff are super helpful and rooms clean with enormous bathrooms. All rooms are filled with old antiques giving the place a lot charm. The Breakfast was also great.

Charming small hotel in downtown Santa Cruz
My stay at Hotel Vendimia was lovely. The staff is friendly, the property is comfortable, the breakfast is filling and tasty and if you like well maintained antiques, you will love the rooms as much as I did. Hotel Santa Cruz had been recommended by a few people and I have never visited there so I can't speak to that hotel, but I'm really glad I followed my instinct based on other online reviewed about Vendimia and stayed here.

Charming little B and B
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel which really is a B and B. It's decorated with antiques. Our hosts were charming, helpful and one spoke perfect English as our Spanish is terrible. It has a nice but small pool you can take a dip in because it's hot there!

What a cute B&B! The style might not be for everyone, but I loved all the decorations and old antiques. The staff is very friendly, and will arrange wine tours, dinner, whatever you need. The breakfast was simple, but filling. There was easy street parking as well. The room was also nice, I had a huge bathroom, and the A/C felt nice! We were so busy wine tasting, we never got a chance to hang around, but there is a large porch out front, and a pool with sitting area in the back that looked lovely. The only thing I would note was that both nights, in the middle of the night, there was lots of dog barking for about 10 minutes, and then it would stop. This is obviously outside the control of the hotel, but if you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring ear plugs.

The hotel is small but very well done. The room was very comfy (has A/C) and the breakfast was tasty. We had a car and never had an issue parking in the few spots in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and generally very helpful although they seem a bit unorganized. We'd called ahead of time and asked they make reservations for some winery tours and dinner. Upon arrival, we inquired into it and it turns out they hadn't made them. No biggie though, they scrambled to get them made and it all worked out. I'd definitely recommend this place and if I'm back in the area, I'll definitely stay here again.

A Magical walk through Chilean history and culture
Hotel Vendimia was voted the best boutique hotel in Chile and it deserves the award. this hotel was built by Mauricio and Clara and was clearly a labor of love. I am a seasoned traveler and seldom have I seen such an attention to details that travelers appreciate. The collection of colonial artifacts and local original paintings is like staying in a museum of history and culture. The owners are warm, helpful and attentive. If I am ever in the area again I will certainly stay there.

A great place to stay in Colchagua Valley.
They were welcoming and interesting at reception. Very very interesting antiques (and ancient things) all around. After a hot day of touring wine country, the pool was welcoming, cool and interesting. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and freshly made coffee was plentiful.

Kudos to Vendimia
It was a last minute decisión to go to Santa Cruz so we were lucky to find Hotel Vendimia. We were welcomed warmly even though they received our reservation only a few hours earlier. Our rooom was ready. We could not have been moré pleased. The staff was excellent in providing service, directions and suggestions...in English. The breakfast was equal to if not better than any 5 star hotel with a family-like atmosphere. The a/c system worked very well which was a plus. If we have the chance to return to Santa Cruz, Chile we will definitely choose Vendimia.

A boutique gem
This is a wonderful boutique hotel convenient to the museum and wineries in Santa Rita. The decor is Chlean colonial, with many interesting furnishings and artwork. The experience is that of a comfortable home; rooms are quiet. The staff is attentive and cordial. Breakfast is a feast set on an elegant dining table.

Vendimar was a pleasant surprise, with an impressive Spanish colonial decor, beautifully arranged. Easy parking and close to the Colchagua Museum. The staff were friendly, willing to do that little bit extra to show good service. Great little outdoor pool area. Short walk to a large selection of restaurants. Highly recommended.

Great spot in Colchagua Valley
Cute "hotel" one street off the main drag in Santa Cruz. Parking out front and a small pool out back. Delicious breakfast (egg, ham, cheese, bread, jams, fruit, juice, coffee, and a slice of cake!) and very friendly, helpful staff. If you are going to Santa Cruz - email the hotel ahead of time - and they can make some bookings for you at the local wineries. You cannot just show up and go. We did a horse-drawn carriage tour, tasting, & lunch at Viu Manent. HIGHLY recommend! Enjoy!

Amazing Wine Country Stay
This was an amazing place to stay while checking the Santa Cruz wine scene. The staff was helpful in arranging all my visits and were always at attention to anything else I might need. The amenities were beautiful and the breakfast was reminiscent of a bed and breakfast.

Outstanding hotel in a town with very few hotels. Accommodation was excellent and the staff outstanding, providing us with exceptional service. This is not however a hotel for those who seek super modern, deluxe US style accommodation. It is a quirky hotel that in its public rooms and bedrooms displays interesting and authentic antiques. Finally, visitors should note that it is not always possible to visit the local wineries without going through a hotel, Vendima is one of those hotels can arrange such visits.

Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel
Great hotel experience. Quirky and dated decor added to the feeling that you were a house guest not just a customer. Rooms were spacious and the bathroom included all modern features one would expect. The price and this hotels relative location to the center of town and surrounding wineries make it a true gem. Also there are no words to describe how great and helpful the staff is, not only coordinating our wine tours but also our next hotel in Pucon.

Lovely Vendimia
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Vendimia. Central in Santa Cruz, but once inside it was a million miles away. Beatifully old inside, rooms amazing and very homely. Very very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
