“Never again”

The staff was very pleasant however the room was overwhelming with the smell of cat urine... Hotel was full, it was late, so I just opened the windows and went to sleep.

“Close to Down Town”

This hotel was very close to where I was going. The rooms are in need of some remodling, but they were quite.

I recently re-relocated to San Diego and while waiting for my new apartment to be ready, I stayed in the Travelodge for a few reasons. The price was right, they weren't too far from the Trolley (under a mile) and they take pets! The maid service was helpful and friendly. After a few days in their hotel they knew me by name, knew that my cat was scared of the vacuum cleaner, knew that I would need fresh towels and refills for the coffee and the related accoutrements. What I didn't like was the run down AC units, and the low-quality soaps they use. Also, my room only had a stand up shower... and sometimes I like baths. All in all, I'd stay there again.

“Do yourself a big favor, do not book this "hotel"”

I have 3 kids and I have booked 2 rooms for more spaces. The rooms are small, the carpets are not clean and smell urine. We spent the first day cleaning the bathrooms and the door knocks. There is bugs all over the places: I told the manager and asked for differents rooms. They are all the same; the new room is upstaires: now the kids are in level 2 and I am staying in the first level ( they did not want to accomodate us ), I could not get my money back beccause they say It was not refundable. I was stack there. the new room has a non working shower. And you know what is the worst: they do not make the rooms ( housekeeping ) everyday, they make every other day. Can you beleive that, hotel rooms not being made every day: I am not talking about new sheets but just to clean the bathrooms and make the beds. I could not stay over there anylonger and I left cutting off my kids vacation. So please if you care about somebody than do not take him to this place. You will end up blaming yourself .

“Last Minute Deal”

I purchased two rooms for my daughter and her husband and four children the night before they left on a spontaneous trip to San Diego from Phoenix. This hotel is more than 20 miles from the beach but it did serve the purposes of their short vacation well. I was grateful for the price and the easy booking through Expedia.

“Will never go back!”

It's the worse room i've ever seen/been (and I travel very often). The carpet is so dirty with lots of stain. The bathroom has unfinished paint; the toilet would not flush. In short, i would NEVER go back to this hotel!

“Santa Monica hotel with character”

My wife and I usually prefer older hotels with character over new glass towers and so the Georgian suits our purpose in being a grand lady in a great location

“Worst/Dirtiest place ever”

I can't believe you allow this place on your website. The sheets had holes in them, clean towls had stains on them and the place smelled. I would never ever recommned this place to anyone.

“not impressed at all”

there werent enough parking spaces, they had more rooms than parking spaces. the room was very tiny, for having 2 queen beds in it, the beds were well worn out, sleeping on the floor was more comfortable.
