“Good Budget Hotel”
This place was on the wrong side of the tracks, literally. But if you have a car and do not mind some local colour and atmosphere it is fine. Very close to the Tijuana Trolley, for a quick and cheap trip over the border to Mexico. Breakfast was weak coffee and a pastry, my second day, no pastries left at 7.45am.
“Good Motel for the price”
The Motel was OK for the price we paid. The surrounding neighbourhood was a bit iffy though. The rooms were clean and the car park was secure (you needed your room key to get in). Just of the i5.
“Better than we expected”
This was the cheapest hotel that we booked on our tour of California and we were really not sure what to expect. Although the area wasn't the best, the hotel was actually a pleasant surprise. It was easy to find, clean, comfortable and close enough to the Zoo which is what we wanted. Overall this hotel was worth the money.
“Not a Good Night Inn”
The first night in our room we spent freezing as the heat did not work. I booked a room for my daughter to stay 1 night and they tried to give her the same room with non working heater. There were nice places to eat on either side of the hotel however both have closed. Many vagrants hanging around the hotel.
