“so so.. would not go back unless i can't find another place”
the hotel is not exactly a hotel. it is a time share rented out to others when the owners are not around. it is expensive given the service available. The bed was made only once a week. the towels and garbage were also taken out twice while staying there for six days. The front desk was under construction and there was no sign how to get to the second floor temporary concierge. The hotel was quiet and clean, and close to restaurants and beach.
“Could be great with more care to clean the rooms!”
It's a condo but if the guests are there for 4 nights (as we were) it would be great if the management would clean up the rooms on a daily basis. We cleaned ourselves but a vacuuming and fresh towels, and a bathroom cleaning would make all the difference. The staff is nice and the location is great.
“Rough start, great location”
We started out rough. Our room was not cleaned two days in a row despite stopping at the front desk on our way out for the day's activities to remind them to clean our room. After the second time we got the manager involved who was wonderfully courteous. The problem was some units are condo units that are cleaned weekly vs. hotel units that should be cleaned daily. Our unit was cleaned daily from then on and the manager gave us a gift card for dinner as an apology. I can't say enough about the hotel location. It is 1/2 a block from the beach and at the base of a 1/2 mile strip of restaurants and shops. It was great to come home from a hectic day and then be able to walk somewhere for dinner. We will come back again.
“Good value, charming neighborhood, nice digs.”
Friendly and responsive staff, can't beat the neighborhood, close to beach for walks or jogging. Some road noise during rush hour, but otherwise, big comfortable room. Very helpful to have a little kitchen. Also very convenient parking.
“Great deal in prime Coronado location”
I attend an annual professional education program across the street at the Hotel del Coronado, and this is the second year I've taken advantage of the excellent accomodations and service available for a much better rate at this property, conveniently located across the street. Last year I took my family and we ended up being there during unseasonably severe January storms, and the resort activities director did a terrific job helping my wife entertain our then 4-yr-old while I was tied up and they couldn't go out. We highly recommend this property and its staff!
“Unexpected pleasure.”
More than just a hotel room. This mini apartment , clean comfortable and well positioned for getting out and about in Coronado. Easy access to the city of San Diego by efficient MTS bus from right outside the door.
“wish this resort would register with Interval International”
Everyone was very friendlyl and you can't beat the location...this is my third visit and we had a great time. The only negative was the awful toilet tissue. It should really be replaced!

“Kongressreise”
Ich habe während einer Kongressreise für 4 Nächte im Coronado Beach Resort übernachtet und das Hotel und die Umgebung nur bei Nacht und im Dezember erlebt. Innen ist das Hotel, das eigentlich eine "Timeshare"-Anlage ist sehr gemütlich und sauber. Das einzige Personal, das ich kennen gelernt habe wahren die Herren an der Rezeption, die ihre Arbeit sehr gut gemacht haben, aber nicht gerade euphorisch waren. Ein Zimmerservice wurde innerhalb meiner 4 Nächte nicht durchgeführt, das kann aber an daran liegen, dass es sich wie gesagt um eine Timeshare-Anlage handelt. Der Weg in und von der Stadt war etwas mühsam, obwohl die Busse bis spät in die Nacht fuhren und mit 2,25$ sehr günstig waren.
