“Not impressed”

Checked into our room and thought that the sheets were not clean. The end table by the bed had can marks or glass marks on it and something sticky. Called the main desk and told them the room is not clean. They gave us another room. The hallway on the third floor had not been vacuumed in some time. Just was not a good experience. Would not recommend this motel to anyone.

For a reasonable amount, you'll have a place to stay almost like home. It's clean and my kids love it.

We spent 2 nights here and felt safe in the area and would come back again, the breakfast was was an added bonus but it didn't include eggs, bacon like they used to serve at the Comfort Inns the bed was a firmer than we like but overall was a great value for the $$.

“Nice staff, rooms in poor condition”

Very nice staff, very helpful and pleasant. Continental breakfast was very good. However, room had stained carpet, rumpled drapes, tacks coming up from carpet. In the mornings, it took over 20 minutes to get hot water for a shower. Windows were very hard to open.

“musty hotel, kinda shady neighborhood”

The hotel was clean but our room smelled like moldy/musty and there was a fallic symbol drawn into the wallpaper in our room. nice. At breakfast they ran out of everything and the waffle line was forever. Granted I was there on a weekend during a ball game in SD so there was a lot of people in the hotel but we got tired of waiting for food so we went to mcdonalds down the road. Location of hotel is just a few minutes drive down the freeway to downtown but NOT a place to lounge at all. Starbucks and some fast food restaurants are nearby but again, I'd consider this place as a last resort or if budget is realllly tight for SD.

“comfort Inn Naval base”

This hotel was very nice for the price, The manager was very nice and personable the staff was nice and helpful. We only had 2 complaints. 1. The airline misplaced our suitcase and I needed toothbrush and toothpaste. She gave me the toothbrush called 2 times about the toothpaste and I never received it 2. Stayed 7 days their were like 2 days that we didn't get washrags. Stayed with a senior citizen and she dirty them alot everyday. other than that no bugs and no problems

“Very good hotel”

Stayed for 6 nights. Overall a very good hotel. One of the better Comfort Inns I stayed in. great location with plenty of resturants & Walmart nearby and next to freeway. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful with directions. clean room...very important. have a gym, which is a big plus. minor negatives are the old tube tv (flat screen tv would be nice) and houses next to hotel could get loud with parties at night.
