“From booking to checking-out ... it was perfect!”

From the moment we checked-in, we felt welcome. Front desk staff was friendly and accomodating. We were offered a room with a partial-view, or if we wanted to wait a little longer, a room with a better ocean view would be availalbe. We opted to wait a while - and were glad that we did! Our room was fantastic, with a stellar view. Room was clean and stocked with towels. Wish we could have stayed more than one night! Maybe next time. Thank you.

“Great for Families!”

We recently stayed at the Seapointe specifically because it was near Legoland. We had our 2 younger children with us (11 & 13)& we were very comfortable in the one bedroom suite. It was nice having a full kitchen. Everything was clean although not ultra-luxurious. There was an extra-large Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Separate large shower stall was nice. All rooms have balconies and overlook the ocean. There are larger corner rooms with 2 walls overlooking the ocean. All kinds of amenities: separate kids and adult pools (overlooks the ocean!) & separate outdoor hot-tubs. Also there was a free water play area for the kids which they loved. The tennis court was in pretty good condition & clean. There was also a full gym, beach volleyball, pool table, ping pong, ... all complimentary! Parking in gated, underground garage also free! Great place to stay!

“Great place!”

We had a wonderful stay in a one bedroom condo. It was very kid friendly. A pool and water playground for the kids as well as a sand pirate playground. We borrowed a swim mask for our son and were able to rent a movie at the lounge for a dollar. Everything you would need in one place. The kids played video games and there was also ping pong, fooseball, tennis, a pool table, basketball courts, you name it. We walked across the street to the beach and had fun in the water & built sand castles. The room had a small kitchen so we bought a few groceries and made meals in our room to save some money. We will definately go back again!

“Secluded and Right by the Beach”

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! This is a gem and a find! I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is a well maintained property. The staff is very friendly and the daily activities are a nice touch. We had margaritas the first night and my son had a rootbeer float. It is right across the street from the beach and our room overlooked the ocean...it was fabulous! The only downside is that you have to drive to Carlsbad Village to grab a bite, but there were several room service options that we did not use. I would without a doubt, stay here again and recommend it highly!

“Awesome!”

This was a great place to stay. It was updated, clean, and was great for parents with children. We have been to San Diego 6+ times and this place was the best thus far.

“Ahhhh, Home away from home.”

The hotel service was excellent and the attendants were kind and informative. The actual room was spacious and the accomodations inside the room made being away from home on a business trip very tolerable. In fact, I plan on taking the entire family back for a relaxing short trip get-away. The rates are afforadable for a working family! Thank you Expedia for being there at the last minute for me when I was too tired to drive back to Los Angeles after a long day of meetings.

“Best place in Carlsbad/Oceanside area!”

It was one of the best vacation experiences I've had in terms of accomodations. It's a beautiful place with wonderful amenities and fantastic staff. I would urge anyone, particularly families with children of any ages, to stay at the Carlsbad Seapointe Resort. There were all kinds of activities at the resort and the location is excellent, right off the beach. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and allowed me to save a lot of money by preparing our meals instead of eating out. But if you want to dine out there are a lot of restaurants near by and the hotel gives you coupons for discounts. There are also grocery stores and a Costco within minutes. I would give the hotel 4 1/2 stars instead of 5 because I didn't like the gas stove/cooktop. It got extremely hot to the touch and I had to keep my 1 year old grandson out of the kitchen when using it. Other than that, the overall experience was excellent.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, right across the street from the beach, 3 minutes to the highway, looking forward to going back!

“Calsbad Hotel”

This is a very nice Condo/Hotel complex with views of the ocean, several pools, a putting green, pool table, ping pong table, volleyball court, tennis court and modern new looking condo like rooms with plenty of space. The only downside of this hotel is that there is a train track running behind the hotel. If windows are closed it didn't seem to be a problem. If they were open in the bedroom that faces the back, however, you could hear the train. I slept ok, but my wife complained about being awakened by the train.

“Perfect location!”

The only negative comment would be that we could hear the room above when someone was like jumping or running.
