“Lovely, but COLD!”
The St. Anthony is a beautiful old hotel with lots of charm and character. It's opulent history shows throughout, and the location is great. The room was spacious and clean. However, we visited on a night with freezing temperatures and our room's heat never came on! We called to report, and a maintenance man came and tried the thermostat, but wasn't successful. He said he'd be back, but he never came. We called for extra blankets which were delivered; but no one offered to move us or apologize for our discomfort.
“needs work”
leftovers in refrigerator, one dirty towel, and other p roblems.
“VERY Disappointed”
The lobby was packed every night making paying guests walk around through an access area behind the lobby to access our PAID rooms. The coffee supplies and clean drinking glasses had to be called for everyday. The housekeeping rarely answers the phone and I would have to call the front desk to get what I needed dleivered. The rooms are noisy the trash truck comes every morning at 4:30 and sounds like it is in your room. There was trash in the pool. The staff is not very friendly. I would NEVER recommend this hotel or return to it again.
“st anthony's”
cool hotel, very old, in a good way. Lot's of character. cool area of town
“Victorian Elegance by the Riverwalk”
The St. Anthony is about one and half blocks from the Riverwalk. The great thing about that is that it is close enough to walk and yet far away from the noise and all night partying that you get on the riverwalk hotels. Our hotel stay was wonderful. The room was gorgeous. We had a room with two queen sized four poster beds. The room had two private bathrooms which was great since my friend and I didn't have to share a bathroom. The bathrooms are quaint with vintage bathrooms, but they are immaculate. All the staff were wonderful and the concierge was great! They also have greaat ghost stories! Darn it! We didn't have any ghostly experience.
“good”
like it much
“Dissapointing”
Pro's Bed Comfortable/Good Location. Cons Pool was not heated at all as advertised. Rooms were not available for several hours after the 4 pm checkin. Waited in line more than 30 minutes to find out our room was not ready. Carpets stained and worn out. Paid $9.00 for a small waffle for a 3 year old.
“beautiful style”
My family and I stayed at St.Anthony's Hotel and loved the feel. It was cold out and the fire place in the lobby was very welcoming. The furniture was beautiful and the rooms were elegant. It has been a long time since we have stayed in a hotel that wasn't a "cookie cutter" style.
“We will definitely return to this Hotel”
We arrived earlier than check in, but we were able to check in with no problems. When we arrived to our room it was partially cleaned, we notified the front desk, with no hesitation, they upgraded our room at no extra charge. Everyone was very nice from the front desk, the bellmen, valet, cooks, and room services. Thanks St. Anthony Riverwalk Wyndham Hotel for an awesome stay!!!! We'll be back
“shabby and pricey”
the hotel corridor looks great but then thats all. Room was shabby and dirty for the price. Parking was etc and can cost from 20 to 27 dollars. Didnt like the pace at all. The bed was creaky. And any tiny noise from outside creeps into the room. Bad experience and wont recommend this place to anyone,
