“Pretty good place to stay in San Antonio”

We liked staying at this hotel very much. Price was very reasonable and location was also excellent, to go anywhere in the city. People at the desk were very friendly and the room was cleaned very well every day. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel while staying in San Antdonio.

Area recommendations
Don't miss downtown San Antonio in this holidays. Lights at the River Wals were spectacular.

“great for very short stays”

Overall it was clean & comfortable. Get your own breakfast though, the free stuff was a joke.

“Good deal”

Chose for its location, it was a good deal for a night. Great bathroom. Nice staff. Not much breakfast left when I went to check on it. Overall good experience.

“BATHTUB DIDN'T DRAIN, BUT WAS FIXED”

Altogether positive experience; staff reacted to concerns; breakfast Ok; Clean rooms athough late cleaning; stained sheets and surly housekeeping staff.

“Good price, basic ammenities, decent stay”

Stayed overnight on a Saturday. Front clerk wasn't very nice, but it didn't ruin my stay. Room was clean and had everything in it that was needed (micro, fridge, cable, internet, a/c, etc.). Bed was ok. Didn't hear much noise. Pool was small but clean. Located directly off I-35S. Decent stay overall. Would return for same price.

“Worst Stay ever!”

The staff is friendly, however the rooms were nasty, dirty, and very small. This room was non-smoking.......but you can tell it use to be a smoking room! The hole room smelled like smoke! The small fridge and microwave are placed right above your closet area!! No where to hang your clothes! I DO NOT RECOMEND ANYBODY STAY HERE. Our over all stay was not what you usually expect from a super eight. Also the pool was small and overcrowded!

“Great Hotel for a great price”

Was waited on quickly, hotel staff was kind. Continental breakfast included a waffle maker with waffle batter..pretty cool, considering all of the other places I've ever been with a similar breakfast, only had pastries that always seemed stale and old. The breakfast area was a little small and got crowded in the mornings, but we still got something out of the deal. And anytime something ran low (OJ/Milk/Coffee/Cereal/Batter, etc), asked the hotel staff and they were filling it up quickly. The room we got was down a couple stairs, (which also had wheelchair ramp to get down the hallway where our room was, in case it was needed) and only once did I hear someone in the room above us. There were no obnoxious guests, at all. I really liked the fact that this hotel actually opened interior, rather than other Super 8's I've seen, opening exterior. Our room was cleaned daily and none of our things were touched. The new granite in the bathrooms looked great. The linens were all clean. Although it was 100+ degrees everyday that we were there, the room stayed cool the whole time. We slept great. We even commented that, being right on I35, we never heard traffic. I would say for what we paid for this room, for 4 days, we got a great rate and a great room.
