“You get what you pay for!”
This is a well-priced hotel in a decent location. We went to watch the marathon, which passed within 2 blocks of the 9 mile marker, and was four blocks from downtown. My wife was creeped out by the room, and I agree it lacked pizazze, but it was livable if aging. Check-in was busy and took too long. Breakfast was ample and friendly.

Our room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. All of the staff we encountered were professional and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic, it was very tasty and the options were impressive. In addition to the cooked food, cereal etc. I was able to able to select yoghurt and blueberries on both days. I used the gym both mornings and was able to use it alone - it's small but does the job. The only negative comment I have was that the doors do not close quietly, and I'm a light sleeper. On Friday night I heard doors closing until 4am. Thankfully, Saturday night was quieter. I am surprised none of the other reviewers mentioned this, no problem if you're not an insomniac I guess.
“Thoroughly Recommend”
Very lovely accomodation and perfectly friendly staff. Not very near to town centre but on the yellow bus route, stop near Courtyard Hotel (also a Marriot) Ask to be put off at VIA office where you can buy a day pass for all the buses if you dont have a car! No shops nearby, you can use the small lounge bar at The Courtyard Hotel. Would recommend and stay again.

Der Service war super.Das Personal war zu vorkommend und nett.Hatten dieses Hotel jetzt schon zum zweiten mal gebucht und sind nicht enttäuscht worden.Wir sind voll kommen zu frieden gewesen und empfehlen dieses Hotel gerne weiter.
