Rugs were old and worn, mirror not cleaned each day. Routine maintenance seemed lacking, tub drain needed attention as well as bathroom sink.

“Great location for a one-night stopover”

I was in San Antonio for a single night - to attend a fund-raising event - and simply needed a clean and comfortable place to spend the overnight hours. Pear Tree Inn provided those accommodations very nicely. Besides being very environmentally friendly - they even had dual flush toilets - they offered free wireless internet. The free WiFi signal was among the strongest of any hotel I've ever stayed with. The only thing I would recommend the hotel consider when they make improvements in the future is to provide power outlets at the in-room desk and bedside for charging electronic devices. needing to unplug a lamp or plug in next to the sink is a rather outdated model.

“A most pleasant experience”

I chose the hotel because of it's convenience to the San Antonio airport and because it offered free shuttle service. I was unexpectedly pleased with the room (it had all the amenities including a very comfortable bed) and, also unexpectedly, the hotel offered complimentary evening "snacks" as well as a creditable breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.

“Disappointed”

Toilet didn't work properly and although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled like smoke and there was actually a cigarette tray in the room.

“Good Night Stay”

We were very satisfied with our nights stay at the Pear Tree Inn! Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff at the hotel was very courtieous and willing to please the clientele. It is a bit tricky to find your way around some of the roads near the airport but we got there. We arrived late in the evening but they still provided some free soda and popcorn. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet of fresh fruit, waffles, cereal etc--yummy! We would go back there again.

Close to the airport, friendly & accommodating staff, quiet rooms and great breakfast! Also close to nice restraunts and shopping.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It isn't the swankiest hotel, but it is clean, comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. Additionally, it was very quiet and had a fantastic free continental breakfast.

“Good hotel at a good price”

The hotel was very accommodating and let me check in a few hours early. The hotel is clean, the rooms comfortable and the price is very reasonable. They offer a free breakfast in the morning, a free local shuttle (perfect for early morning airport departures and free happy hour in the evening. A great airport hotel! I would recommend it.
