“some good some bad”

We got there at 11 at night went up to are room, it smelled and was very damp feeling. I noticed crumbs along the wall and a dead fly in the corner of the bathroom floor, I checked for bed bugs and it was clear. I chose this hotel mainly for the location and free breakfast. The breakfast was ok. The beds were comfy and we slept good, the room was quiet even though it was on a busy street.

Area recommendations

The Ingram park area was a good close location for the lackland festivities.

“Great Hotel”

I stayed there for my sons Air Force Basic Training graduation. It was a great place to stay the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and exactly how the pictures said it would be. If I had one small complaint to make it would be the fact that the soda machine was not working, but there was a store nearby so it did not bother me that much.

“OK”

It was your basic motel. Staff was very friendly and always resonded promptly to requests. I was there for my son's graduation from AF BMT. The motel is conveniently located.

“Convenient Location, Bad Management”

I have stayed her at least 3 times for both business and pleasure. I am not usually nit-picky about hotels, but I have always different issues during every stay at this La Quinta. Once they even gave me a key to a room that had not been cleaned by room service. The Front desk is either a hit or miss, but is always indifferent to problems. During the winter the heater smelt like burnt and the smoke alarm went off. Hotel also has a really small pool and the local neighborhood is scary. Breakfast is bare bones, so you'll probably have to eat out. I'd only recommend staying here if you need a hotel near St. Mary's or other institution, otherwise there are hundreds of other SA Hotels.

“Not impressed at all”

I travel for work and have stayed in dozens of La Quinta Inns. This was probably the worst one I have stayed in. We most likely won't stay there again. They guy upon check out was not at all friendly.
