Q Restaurant - The sounds of an atrium waterfall provide a pleasant backdrop to meals. Lunch and dinner feature International Barbecue and authentic Texas-style cuisine.

Q Bar - After a day of meetings, this casual and comfortable lounge overlooking the atrium is a great people-watching spot. Cocktails and appetizers.

Jim Cullum's Landing - For nightly jazz on the river, guests should reserve a table at this Riverwalk institution, famous for its music and margaritas.

Mad Dog's - A very British pub with darts and pool. Large selection of beers on tap, along with pub food such as steak, fish and chips, and sandwiches.

“Great Location”

The hotel was clean and convenient. I was shocked that it was not all wired for free WiFi.

“Best Location On The Riverwalk!”

Hyatt Regency Riverwalk is right in the heart of the Riverwalk and is convenient to the Alamo - and the Riverwalk is just outside the lobby door. The staff is well organized and very efficient. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The room (king bed) was very comfortable. Our room overlooked the central atrium. Our friends stayed in a room with an excellent view of the Alamo. Only two drawbacks: not enough electric outlets for plugging in all the usual travel items (phones and cameras and iPads), and the in-room fridge was out of order. Would love to stay there again!

“Can't beat the Location”

What a deal!!! Got a bargain. Never paid so little for a hotel right on the Riverwalk. Check in was easy and fast, room was spacious and clean. We got a room on the top floor with a Riverwalk view. Only down side is that you have to pay for parking across the street.

Area recommendations

If you stay here or anywhere else in San Antonio, you have to visit the Riverwalk, Rivecenter and The Alamo. It is so nice to walk around in the day and night. Lots of great selections for restaurants and entertainment.

“Riverwalk, Alamo convenient.”

Modern, convenient to what SA offers. Not necessarily ideal for young kids due to meal choices in restaurant, but of course many dining options nearby. Einstein Bros bagels in lobby great for a fast easy breakfast. Be sure and use the underground walkway to connect through to a park and the Alamo.

“Great Hotel in a Great Location!!!”

Great hotel, couldn't ask for a better location. It's right across the street from the Alamo and right on the Riverwalk. Surround by everything the Riverwalk has to offer.

“Thanksgivimg Getaway”

Really beautiful Hotel...direct access to Riverwalk.. Had the MOST delicious Thanksgiving dinner in their restaurant . The employees only wanted to please. Even though we were there for Thanksgiving the employees were very pleasant and accomodating.

“Underwhelmed”

The lack of shuttle assistance from the airport to the hotel, combined with mis-information being given about availability of the pool (prior to arrival), leaves me less than satisfied. The cost was not in line with the service. I also found the street-level sidewalk stores to be obnoxious. I would expect a hotel which appeared to be positioning itself as "upscale," to be in a neighborhood which would be more likely to serve "older" clientele (50's and beyond), but found the neighborhood to be more geared towards family suck-your-money-away entertainment and shopping (dark rides, kitschy museums, tshirt and trinket stores).

Nightlife

The Riverwalk is all the "thing," but expect to have lots of crowds if you're there on a weekend night. It is nice, but I would recommend that if you're going for the walk, you go mid-week!
