“Air conditioner did not keep cool”

Unit in room made noise and did not cool properly during the night, was too tired to contact hotel mgt to fix.

“Nice Place in North Central San Antonio”

Convenient, Clean, comfortable and affordable. Restaurants all around, plus shopping. We will stay there again.

“Better than the Biltmore in Coral Gables!”

This hotel was one of the best I have ever stayed in and I have traveled a lot. My husband and I just spent a few days in February at the Biltmore in Coral Gables, Fl and this place has it beat and the prices were 1/4 of that hotel. Beds were new and everthing was clean. Breakfast had a great variety and the lady in charge of that was a riot! She was so friendly and would get you anything you asked for if it was not already there. Rooms were quiet and service great. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Area recommendations
The prices were lower here than close to the Alamo but not a bad drive at all and close to airport and rental car agency.

“Convenient and clean”

The commode overflowed in my first room. I was not happy, but the put me in a new room right away and even upgraded me to a suite because that was what they had open. So, they had the correct response. Pretty good breakfast options as well -- not just sweet rolls and juice.

“Just convenient because of location”

This hotel was worn down, details inside the room appeared old. The location was very convenient. I have come to realize that all holiday inn expresses are not the same and the ones with a new sign are much newer. A plus for the next guy might be a new mattress because as I was checking out a truck had just started to unload a bunch of mattresses.

Area recommendations
stay in suburbs or in downtown, because the rest of the areas are no so pretty.

“Good hotel”

Breakfast service including foods and a service person was wonderful. Although we had a little difficulty for finding the hotel, it was a good hotel to stay.
