“close to market square”

I wanted a hotel in between six flags, close to Mi Tierra, and riverwalk. The hotel was right in the middle and was at a convenient price.

Downtown and carter. Lots of things to do and see.

“expensive for the age and noise”

The staff were great. We did not make it down to the breakfast. I kind of had a funky smell in the hallways, but the room was clean. Furniture was scratched up, but not rundown. Our biggest complaint is our second floor room had very loud squeeking any time someone above us moved. I am a pretty hard sleeper and it woke me up several times. If we had been given a third floor room, it probably would have been fine.

Area recommendations
We wanted to do the riverwalk cruise and go to dinner with friend in Market Square. We walked to both and it was nice that parking was free.
Getting around
We walked and saw the riverwalk and had a great dinner. Wish we had more time.

“Good Place to Stay”

This was a good place to stay in San Antonio. We had read some reviews that suggested the location wasn't the best but happy to say that we thought the location was great. We could park our car and walk everywhere and anywhere. The bus service was perfect, just one short block away.The place was clean, staff friendly, and the brekky was really good.One morning we had difficulty getting a seat for breakfast but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Might help for the hotel to post a reminder to people that if you are finished eating and the eating area is busy, then let someone else use the table. Some used the tables just to sit at and chat which meant that others had to stand to eat.

Would recommend the Riverwalk , Market Place and San Marcos malls

We were there for a few days including the first day of Fiesta!! was really a great experience

“Happy customer”

This hotel is excellent and located near many tourist attractions and all the staff seemed very nice during my stay even going so far as to provide breakfast even though i was late by a few minutes. The beds were very comfortable and I felt well rested the next morning.

“Just right for business trip”

Staff at hotel was very helpful in every way: check-in, securing transportation, providing directions and suggestions for dining/entertainment, etc.

“very quiet.”

hotel was a little farther away from the riverwalk area than I had been led to believe, but the walk/public transportation was great. Weather was wonderful. Almost all the people we ran into were very friendly. There were quite a few beggars on the street corners. We were there the one week during the year when they drain the river. Might want to ask about that when booking. It was still a nice time.

“A great place to stay”

Lived up to all expectations, a good room, great breakfast, right off the freeway. Walked to Alamo and Riverwalk..a good walk. Not too many restaurants nearby, but a great Mexican one at Market Square. Would stay again, very friendly staff.K
