“good location”

I was expecting more, I usually get a suite and I really love the drury from Mc allen but this in San Antonio I didnt like it because the bed was unconfortable, the bathroom was to small, you need to get in to close the door . They said the breakfast is a buffet and it has just bananas and oranges for fruit, and I think it was the same breakfast from the pear tree and the Drury is more expensive, I was expecting a little bit more of everything..

“Will make a return visit”

Had a great time in San Antonio @ Drury Inn.Enjoyed having a hot breakfast everyday. Tried to get back to the hotel for the daily kickback and fresh popcorn. I recommend taking the family to this hotel and have yourselves a ball.

Downtown San Antonio was a lot of fun and informative of the city's history

Getting around

I was glad a rented a car there is a lot to see and having your own car saved a lot of time. The bus was always an alternative.

“Not a three star hotel”

This hotel is not a three star hotel. The rooms were cramped and have not been decorated in a while and the fellow guests were kind of scary. The service itself was good but would not stay here again

“Handy”

We enjoyed our stay in San Antonio at the Drury Inn. It was located near the airport and major highways, making it simple to go sightseeing. The breakfast, free afternoon sodas and the hot snack were nice touches. The staff helped us navigate the roads to the Alamo, River Walk, etc.

“Nice stay in a tourism town”

We were in San Antonio for our son's graduation from basic training at Lackland AFB, so we used the 410 Loop A LOT. It is a really easy drive, even with traffic it only took about 25 min to get to the base. We drove, but had two different flights to meet at the airport and that was only 5 min. away. Even being on the highway and that close to the airport I never heard the traffic or planes. The staff was very accomidating and helpful, helping me to get directions for movies, locating my rental car etc. Added bonus at this hotel is their "kickback" from 5:30 to 7 each evening. Not only did we get a great breakfast, the kickback gave us a light dinner; chicken fingers or wings, salad, baked potato, hot dogs, nachos. If you had eaten well at lunch, this was perfect in the evening. We also had an Applebee's in the same parking lot.
