Can only describe this hotel has 1st class in our opinion..our little secret . Rooms/ location/ price are all extremely excellent. Every thing can be catered for among different taste. We where on a touring holiday & booked for a one night stay but ended up booking a extra night because the location was great with lots to see & do. There are bikes free of charge to use aswell as boats to laze about on the lake, there are fantastic views to admire. The main boats dock right outside the hotel & are reasonably priced they take you to the surrounding areas around the lakes ie.St Gilgen , st Wolfgang are both superb areas to explore. Our first night we stay in the a room with a forest view which was nice & comfortable. Towels for the outdoors to lounge on & bath robes are provided..our second night we where lucky to have a lake view room in the main building which we can only describe as 5* very modern amenities and a view to die for???keep up the good work very satisfied with the whole stay wished we could have stayed longer.
The Hotel was simple and basic but provided everything one needs. Room was clean quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was typical. Rolls cold meat and cheese, cereals, tinned fruit salad etc.
Location was a mile or so from the centre but a very pleasant walk along the river bank foot path. Not so far from the station and had parking if one had driven there. Ideal. It was one of the few with room at a reasonable price and had availability during the Salzburg festival.
I would recommend it to all the un pretentious who need a really good value place to stay. Staff were helpful and spoke good English.
Great hotel if you are looking for a city break with the benefit of a swimming pool and countryside views. Bus stop very close to hotel with a frequent service into the centre of Salzburg. Can recommend the Salzburg Ticket which covers museum entry and local transport. Evening meals on the terrace of the hotel- food excellent

"Beautiful view of lake and a little charming town"
It's a winter sking resort. Very charming cottages. Has a great view of the lake and mountains. The rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is good. Breakfast was included, and was good, had a big variety. Great view from the restaurant at night.
The lake is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen, the little town is charming and quiet, not touristic, very good restaurants and great views everywhere.
We definitely recommend this place as one of the most beautiful places in Austria.
Hotel was a nice surprise, it is sort of hard to get too, but once there it is very good. The food was some of the best that we had on our entire trip. The front desk personal could have been more friendlier, but were efferent.

We spent three nights at the hotel. It is located in a small village and even though it is not on the water it is very easy to access the entire lake region. The breakfast was good, the hotel is clean and the staff friendly.
