Wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and larger than we expected. Walkable to St Wolfgang Lake or the city center. Near many restaurants and hiking trails. We enjoyed the breakfast offerings and the excellent service. Very welcoming staff--we would love to visit again in the winter or summer!

I absolutely fell in love with this hotel and location! What an inviting and quaint picturesque mountain town just a 3 minute walk away. Then just 3 to 4 minutes from lakeside which is idealistic to lounge and be awestruck by the lake as well as paddle board tube or waterski. It also provides free bikes and the breakfast is second to none. The owners which are family are amazing and super receptive to all your needs. Can’t wait to get back!

This was our favorite out of all of Austria and Germany. The area is so stunning and the accommodations and staff at Hotel Furian were amazing. We loved their breakfast service too. I highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at Furian. Highlights include location (two quiet blocks to waterfront or city center), staff friendliness, waterfront amenities, on-site parking, and amazing breakfast. The short walk from the hotel leads to a private shoreline area for hotel guests only with plenty of lounge chairs, restroom, towels, paddle boards, and nice little bar with drinks and a few light snack options. On the way you’ll pass the bahnhof station to the mountain top with incredible views. A great stay in an amazing area. Thanks to the Furian staff!!

I stayed in this hotel for 3 night with my family. All the staffs of the hotel (Furian family) were quite kind and friendly. They welcomed us with friendly smiles and conversations every time. It was low season and many shops, restaurants and attractions in that town were closed. But the owner of the hotel kindly recommended us some places to visit in order that we can spend good vacation. The housekeeper always arranged my children’s dolls in a cute way. The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. The family suite room we stayed in was amazingly beautiful. The stay was our best ever! Thank you family Furian!

Absolute choice in Wolfgangsee
Everything is good, hotel located at a quiet area but near the beach and train to the mountain, only 3 minutes you can get to the private beach, 8 minutes to most of the restaurants, cafe, shops. Our room has views on the lake, we enjoy morning coffee or have some wine at the lovely balcony. This is an absolute choice in Wolfgang

We had a lovely room with lots of space to stretch out in and an incredible view of Lake Wolfgang. We spent a lot of time on the deck just taking it all in. The staff was all smiles and the owner saw very gracious and friendly giving us great advice if things tondi and see in the area. The village down the street was like a fairy book place. We loved it all.

From the pictures on the web site it looks like it is on the lake, but it is not. It is a couple of blocks away. You can see a little of the lake from over the houses and trees from the balcony. It is not what I expected.

On the hotel website one can find the information that our ( newly renovated and very comfortable ) hotel beach is a few minutes walk away (2-3 min) from the hotel. It offers sunbeds, ombrellas, a bar, toilett, shower, changing cubicle, watersi & wakeboard school with all its equipment and coach. The hotel building is situated in a green, sunny and for all,-very quiet- location, very close to all the attractions like the historic town center ( 2 min.) the lake promenade (2 min), the ferry boat station as well as the steam-train station ( 2 min) and a lot of good restaurants (1-2min). Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff you feel that you are staying with your family. The hotel rooms are not equipped with AC so I recommend to the hotel to provide enough and powerful fans for the hot days like the first two nights for me.

Beautiful Hotel, Friendliest Staff
A great Hotel situated just out of the small town of Saint Wolfgang (about a 5 minutewalk to the center). Check in was a breeze with the super friendly staff, with nothing being to much for them to do. The hotel only has 20 rooms, which makes it all nice and personal. The breakfast is typical continental, but all very nice. The girls waiting at breakfast were all so friendly, polite and a credit to the hotel. The area they have reserved on the lakeside is a beautiful relaxed area for enjoying the lake and the beautiful setting on Lake Wolfgangsee. The water is ideal for swimming in and reasonably warm when we were there. The lakeside area is a gentle 5 minute stroll from the Hotel. As well as being in a beautiful setting, the lakeside area has a small bar, serving alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as a limited food menu. There is a shower and a toilet there for your use, as well as lockers and shower gel, and towels are provided free. This is definitely a Hotel I would recommend to everyone, the staff, the area and the lovely setting made this one of the best holidays we have had.

The older gentleman at the hotel was so welcoming and made our stay absolutely wonderful. The view from our room was breathtaking and the room was large. We’ve been traveling for two weeks at different places and this hotel is definitely our favorite!

The hotel is really comfort. It has a private beach, not so far away from the hotel. Mr.Furian is a very nice gentleman, gave us an amazing speed boat trip. Breakfast buffet is awesome, Dinner also provides salad buffet with fresh fruit and vegetables. We like it so much.

The attentiveness and helpfulness of the owners and staff at the hotel made it an excellent choice. They were always ready to give advice about excursions and the facilities in the town and to help you with anything you needed. The room was lovely and they had a good front terrace on the quiet street. We would definitely recommend it.

We had an enjoyable 2 days here and despite the weather enjoyed the Furian's private lakeside area, which would have been lovely in nicer weather. In general we felt the hotel didn't quite live up to expectations. The staff were very friendly, but facilities are limited. We were actively encouraged to go out and enjoy the bars/restaurants of the town. The hotel bar isn't much to speak of and closes early. p.s. The ceiling lampshade in our bedroom was burnt and needs changing.

Excellent hotel
Hotel Furian was really excellent; very helpful staff and our room was beautiful, clean and very well maintained. St Wolfgang is just a short walk away which was perfect as was the private beach area which was really lovely and relaxing. I couldn't fault any part of our stay here and would certainly book here again next time I visit the area. St Wolfgang is a very beautiful area and we will definitely be returning there in the future.

Hotel Furian- in and out of the town
This hotel is located a street or so off of the Lake with great viewsof both the lake and mountains. Some fog in the morning, but it clears by about 10am. Great walking in town, which is just down the street (walk left out the hotel) or if you go to the right you can hike up a hill towards rolling pastures and forested areas. Staff spoke English and was cheerful. The internet connection was free via our own laptop but it was not WIFI so that my Iphone email did not work there with the device that they gave us for our laptop. Looks like they do supply a computer for use in their lobby. Hot breakfast buffet was included with yogurt, cereals, breads, eggs, bacon and good coffee and juice. Great town this time of year, but I could imagine that it would be busy in the summer months with all the boating activities (motorboat rentals, scuba, ferry boat rides, scenic train rides etc.) The Lake looked clean and one could possibly swim in Sept, if you are used to colder waters. Very picturesque area and close to travel to Salzburg-- although that city was pretty touristy even though we travelled at the end of Sept after school at started. Only suggesed improvements are: either provide some form of English TV channels or at least a clockradio so that one could listen to some music at night and an orientation map for guests when they arrive. Did not know about the promanade till the morning we were leaving. Nice town and location. Great Country!

Perfect location, beautiful hotel
I loved the Furian and St. Wolfgang. The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom had a tub, which meant I could take a long soak after hiking. The desk gave me information about the bus and boat schedule. The breakfast was by far the best of my three-week trip--fantastic selection, high quality offerings and beautiful breakfast room. I arrived on a bus from Salzburg and had no problem walking right to the hotel after getting off the bus at the Schafberg busstop. The location is ideal: a couple blocks to the Schafberg mountain lift and, across the street from that, a boat dock for trips to other towns on the lake. The little town center is likewise a couple blocks away.

아름다운 장크트 볼프강에서의 아름다운 추억을 만들어준 푸리안호텔에 감사해요!! 친절한 직원들과 안락한 분위기 그리고 호숫가의 프라이빗 바에서의 행복한 기억은 아마도 평생 잊지못할 것 같아요^^ 시설은 약간 노후됐지만 오히려 더 아늑했고요 엄청 깨끗합니다^^ 또한 환상적인 조식도 강추입니다!! 앞으로 제 인생에 다시금 볼프강에 간다면 또 푸리안으로 갈게요!!!

Super Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Aufmerksames und sehr nettes Personal. Die Inhaber stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und kümmern sich sehr nett. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns der hoteleigene Badeplatz. Er bietet Entspannung pur und hat sogar eine Bar und Toilette. Uns hat der Kurzurlaub sehr gefallen und wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen. Wiedermal ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Hervorragender Service, sehr nettes Personal, gastfreundlich, aufmerksam und jeden Morgen ein super Frühstück.
