“Really bad condition”
Dirty walls and floor
“Very impressed”
Excellent modern hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast which we had included in our room rate. Very good specials for dinner at 9.5 Euro for a main course. Tram stop to the Mirabell gardens just outside hotel. Highly recommended.
“Perfect!”
Excellent service! We were not happy with our first room as it was near the lift and we could hear the mechanism whining constantly - so avoid room 438! Anyway we asked to be moved and this was done without any quibble and we found ourselves in a much nicer room. My wife is gluten intolerant and this was well understood by the restaurant staff who did everything they could to provide her with food which was suitable. The cost of dinner in the restaurant was very reasonable - there is a fixed price menu which was cheaper than most other places we saw. The food was excellent! Overall a very classy establishment with slick professional service. We would not hesitate to book there again or recommend it to anyone.
“Not impressed”
Hotel under refurbishment. Receptionist - cold and disinterested. Bathroom not clean. Dangerous, rusty springsof broken tissue box left on show below sink. Toilet not cleaned. Mildew around bath. Leaking shower. Drilling all day. This room should NOT have been released to guests of a 4 star hotel.
“Very impressive localisatıon in Salzburg”
Hotel is quıet well, nice working personals, but there were some problems. First of all breakfast was expensive and not reasonable, not included in hotel prices.
“Great service and excellent value for money!”
After travelling for more than 4 weeks, it was a pleasure to receive a warm greeting and given excellent service. Our large room for our 3 night stay was very good value for money. The staff were very good and we are pleased to give them an excellent rating!!

“Salzburg hotel”
Rooms were spacious, had tea/coffee, mini-bar, usual bits and pieces. May be a little tired? Beds starting to wear out and general decor and fittings showing faint signs of age and deterioration but nothing that would adversley affect your stay. Staff very helpful - left bags in store after check-out while we toured Salzburg, they provided info re buses and routes. Public transport good in Salzburg - needs to be! traffic otherwise a pain. Good rate from Expedia compared to rack rate in an expensive city. Would stay here again.
“Easy 1 day Stopover”
About 15 mins walk from the station, and easy to find. We arrived well before our check in time, but leaving our baggage was no problem - locked in a room with receipt given - free of charge. The old town is about 20 mins walk. If your'e not a walker, the No 2 trolley-bus stops almost outside. It goes to the station and even the airport (very cheap)!
“convenient hotel for walking tour to famous places of salzburg”
