“Kaiserhof/Saltzberg Austria, Suburb”

This was a very good two night visit to Saltzberg (this is my spelling, you can select your own based upon language), a visit made at the spur of the moment. The hotel was clean and somewhat off the beaten track but as it turned out ideal for our trip intents. On a post bus line with discounted fare to downtown Saltzberg , downtown was only about fortyfive minutes away and a lot cheaper than parking. And the hotel has almost everything one could ask for in the "in building" facilities. An excellent and reasonable restaurant, an excellent breakfast, even a nightclub. The building was solid enough that activities on the ground floor did not bother our sleep up in the attic's inexpensive digs. There were some notable areas where improvements could be noted. My associate had GPS for Europe and thank goodness he did for the hardcopy maps we downloaded from the web were not very useful. GPS lead us right to the hotel whereas I was lost trying to find the place with hard copy. Secondly, housecleaning did not do a through job of cleaning and in a nightstand drawer opened food was found. An expensive candy bar was amonst the three items, 90% intact. That bar lasted four days - thank you previous guest! There were some maintenance issues but minor. I consider this a good value and would return.

Stains/cigarette burns on the carpet, loud bar at night, on a busy road across from a factory - not a family hotel. The staff was friendly but the manager would not allow us out of the 4-night reservation without paying most of it. Found a beautiful pension closer to Salzburg for less than the hefty room price.

la cucina non è male e non cara ma a parer mio se non ti puliscono bene la camera soprattutto i letti per me è da scartare. c'erano capelli e polvere tra materasso e rete che si vedono benissimo anche senza alzar nulla!!!

Globalement déçu par cet hôtel qui n'est pas à la hauteur de la réputation des hébergements Autrichiens. Hôtel situé sur une route passante, peintures et décorations défraichies. WC malodorants. Lits enfant superposés dont les montants sont endommagés, qui craque et grince et dont les matelas sont défoncés (Chambre 127 si besoin est !). Mais la cerise sur le gâteau est bien la discotèque au sous-sol qui ouvre de 22h00 à 5h00 du matin les WE et dont les "boum-boum" et autres commentaires à la sono empêchent les voyageurs de dormir tout simplement. Seul point positif le petit déjeuné est relativement copieux ! Pas de patron bien sur en vue, que des employés qui n'y sont pour rien et qui ne peuvent trouver de remèdes à tous ces mots. Bref notre conseil à éviter à tout prix. Faudrait même se faire rembourser, car un hôtel où l'on ne peut pas se reposer n'est pas un hôtel !!!! A fuir à tout prix (surtout à ceux pratiqués !) .............

“Zimmer unsauber und das Personal nicht interessiert”

das erste zimmer unakzeptabel dreckig (haare vom vormieter m bett und bad, das wc hatte noch spuren des vormieters, der boden war voller dreck) und beim geschlossenen fenster hat es hereingezogen wie wenn dieses gekippt gewesen wäre. nach unserer reklamation an der reception haben wir zwar anstandslos und sofort ein anderes zimmer bekommen, doch auch ohne auch nur ein wort der entschuldigung. das 2. zimmer war zwar etwas besser aber auch nicht sauber. staub auf der bettkannte und dem nachttisch, der boden ebenfalls mit dreck und süssigkeitenverpackungen übersäht und das bad auch nicht sauber. beim frühstück war das personal überfordert und unfreundlich. und es dauerte lange bis gebäck, saft und ähnliches auf dem buffet nachgefüllt wurden. die eierspeise war kalt und selbst den kaffee etc. musste man sich selbst von der maschine in der ecke herunterlassen. alles in allem eine endtäuschung auf der ganzen linie. und das personal nicht interessiert.

L'hotel è carino e il personale gentile, qualcuno con una buona conoscenza dell'italiano. Forse a causa dell'enorme affluenza di persone per il ponte dell'8 dicembre o forse perchè prenotato solo dieci giorni prima di partire, la nostra stanza era in mansarda (proprio tale) ma almeno ci sono giunti solo gli echi della discoteca sita al primo piano. L'arredamento della nostra stanza era molto spartano e un po' datato ma comunque, nel complesso, l'ambiente era pulito. Il ristorante offre i piatti tipici austriaci ma ci sono anche le fettuccine alla bolognese e il caffè quasi buono: unico neo ...un po' lenti nel servire (ma questo è un problema solo per chi ha bambini a seguito). Nel complesso un buon compromesso qualità prezzo.
