“Xmas and New Year in Hotel Stein, Salzburg”

This is a quality hotel. Service and personnel are professional and friendly. The roof top terrace serves a good breakfast and has a good selection of drinks and food (snacks) as part of their cafe setup. The hotel is well situated being part of the city centre, the downside being that you also hear many of the street noises: garbage and delivery trucks, people returning from clubs and bars. The hotel had an exclusive New Year's party on the roof top terrace. It was pricey, but you did get a wonderful view of the fireworks at midnight.

“Hotel Stein Salzburg”

Albergo pulito e in ottima posizione. Bellissima terrazza per colazione/bar sul tetto con vista spettacolare sulla città. Personale gentile. No minibar nelle camere e in un 4 stelle ci vuole. Parcheggio un po' lontano per chi arriva con valige pesanti.

Centro città, lungo fiume. Città stupenda.

“Hotel entspricht nicht den Erwartungen.”

Wir haben 2 Nächte nicht geschlafen aufgrund der Belästigungen durch die Dreharbeiten des Films mit Tom Cruise. !!! Das Hotel hatte angeblich keine Ahnung das die Dreharbeiten zu erheblichen Beeintträchtigung führen. Der Standard des Hotels (z.B. Fußboden schief; Geschirr beim Frühstückbuffet schmutzig) entspricht in keinster Weise dem Hotelpreis.

“Salzburgs schönster Blick”

Großartige Lage, grandiose Dachterrasse (mit Blick auf Salzach, Altstadt und Festung), großzügiges Zimmer, guter Service, moderne Einrichtung, nostalgischer Charme. Was will man mehr, von einem (Alt-)Stadthotel?

“Ideal um Salzburg zu erkunden”

Das Hotel verfügt über eine traumhafte Dachterrasse, und die Zimmer sind stylisch und individuell eingerichtet. Auch der Service des Personals war 1a. Lediglich das Frühstücksbuffet könnte qualitativ etwas besser sein. Aber ansonsten war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit.
