“Everything and more”
Fantastic hotel, from the minute you arrived at the hotel! The room was very clean and you even got to choose your own type of pillow. Within walking distance of all must see sites. Definately recommend
“One of the best in the world!”
Recently, my husband and I were guests at the Hotel Sacher Salzburg. While we travel to Europe at least once a year, we have never experienced so fine and attentive level of excellence and service as we did at the hands of this staff. The hotel’s attention to every detail was truly outstanding. From the housekeeping staff to room service, from the bellman to the concierges, from the wait staff to the desk clerks, we were impressed and delighted at every turn. While everyone on the staff was exceptional, a few stand out and warrant special mention. On the Front Desk they were attentive, considerate, friendly and thoughtful. From the time we checked in till our last day five days later, one concierge in particular was more professional and caring of our needs and whims than any hotel employee we have ever known. He is a treasure and I hope he is as appreciated by his employer as he is by his guests. And not to forget the reservations manager who patiently answered every email question in the weeks leading up to our stay with prompt and courteous attention. The location is perfect, the rooms are immaculate and the service on a par with none. A truly 5-star experience!
“Repeat visitor”
I stay here three or four times a year, its always reliable but the one drawback is that some of the rooms have yet to be modernised. They are, nonetheless, clean and comfortable but a bit dated unless you are on the river side of the hotel.
“Consistent Quality”
I have stayed her 5 or 6 times and it is consistently very good. The only problem is the wireless internet service which is both expensive and very poor as the connection drops off every half hour or so and the speed is painfully slow.
“Noisy Room”
We had a room facing the street and it was very noisy at night. There was also an intermittent dripping noise that kept us up. It might have been from the AC. The room was dated and the bed was a little hard. Not worth the amount we paid.
“I would really like to go back and stay in this hotel again.”
This was a clean, well maintained with excellent customer service that I would recommend to all my friends and families.
“Great Hotel in Great City”
Absolutely gorgeous hotel....Highly recommend.....Great location and superior service
“WOW!!”
What a fabulous hotel!! We stayed for three nights and could not have asked for a better experience! The staff was helpful and courteous in every way. The room was beautiful and well maintained. The property was right at the end of the footbridge into Old Town and in the middle of New Town. Great views and don't forget to have a Sacher torte at Cafe Sacher before you leave. Would highly recommend this hotel.
“Good but tired”
Hotel is attractive and in an ideal location. Some rooms are modernised but not the ones that my colleagues and I occupied as all three of these were old and quite tired. Internet service - wi fi - was unworkable which forced us to use the business centre. If the wi fi had produced a reasonable signal it was also very expensive and reminiscent of the days when hotels could take advantage of their customers on telephone fees before mobile phones.
“my favorite hotel in Salzburg, Austria.”
This is my most favorite hotel in Salzburg. I usually stay here if I can get a good rate. Centrally located, great service. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates style and class.
