“Australian traveller”

This hotel is rather funky. Location is outstanding being right on the edge of old town. No trouble parking car although th car park s tight. Lady on desk very pleasant. Brekkie was nice. Would have been happy to spend another night. Some previous reviewers complained about noise but I didn't find that a problem.

“Second visit”

This is the second time staying at the Hofwirt. The rooms are clean, which is most important to me. Just a short walk to the city center. The first time our room overlooked the parking garage and it was fairly quiet. This time we were on the third floor overlooking the street. It was VERY noisy ALL night long!!! Too noisy!! Request a room away from the street.

“Good location; but not good for comfort or sleep”

We found the hotel staff cold and impersonal. Our requests for assistance were met with almost hostility, as if we were an imposition, not a paying guest. The pillows were rock hard and lumpy. Likewise the duvets. And although the location was great, busses and motorcycles roared through all night, so even wtih window close and ear plugs in, I couldn't sleep. And of course, there was no air conditioning, and we were in a warm climate pattern, so having the window closed was oppressively hot. We did like the cool wall graphic in the room, and the breakfast was good. I wouldn't go back there, though. Nicht so gut! Thanks for asking

“Clean Standard European Room with Excellent Breakfast and Free Parking”

The room was a standard european room (2 twin beds that can be pushed together). It was very clean. The TV was small but there are many better things to be doing on in Salzburg. The included breakfast was excellent. Parking was free though hard to maneuver in. The hotel is within walking distance to everything in downtown Salzburg.

“Peccato perchè la posizione è eccellente !”

L'Hotel è vecchio e le stanze sono piuttosto misere anche se spaziose. Non c'è l'aria condizionata e la televisione ( qual'ora interessasse ) è minuscola e modello precedente la guerra. Il posto macchina , fondamentale nei giorni da 'bollino rosso', è una grande comodità anche se non c'è per tutti. La posizione è eccellente in quanto basta attraversare la strada e ci si trova nella zona pedonale che porta al centro storico. La colazione, senza eccellere in nulla, è buona e discretamente abbondante, servità a buffet in una stanza ampia e recentemente ristrutturata.

“Zentrale Lage”

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, so dass alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen sind.

Un buon Hotel. Il bagno troppo piccolo, però in sostanza una camera discreta. Il personale molto cordiale e disponibile, parlano anche in Italiano. Sono state mantenute le tariffe preconcordate.
